The property smelled like smoke. Also it was very damp in the place. The floor is very uneven and felt squishy like there wasn’t a solid floor underneath. It was very convenient to the falls and within walking distance to a lot of places to eat. Wasn’t thrilled with the abandoned houses on either side of the property. Was on street parking which said only 2 hours but our car was fine the whole time.

Other than it not being shoveled out when we got there, the place was great. The host was very quick at getting back to us. The place was clean and quiet. Parking was tough due to the road not being plowed well but we parked across the street in the Aquarium parking lot and nobody bothered us there. It was very easy to get to both the American and Canadian side of the falls.

I got all the automatic messages but when i had a question no reply at all. Floor was soft in kitchen, toilet was super loose and moved, we were scared it was going to break.next to a abandoned property with trash thrown out in back yard. Coffe pot had to be sat on floor to be used because no available outlets on the counters

We were very concerned with the location of this property. It is part of a row of houses that are abandoned and in disrepair. We did not feel safe venturing out on foot.The apartment lacked some basic furnishings for example: there were no table lights just glaring ceiling lights and there was no bureau to put clothes in. The bathroom did not have a toilet roll holder. The kitchen lacked some basic equipment such as pots pans - just one med sized saucepan and a skillet. No large cooking spoon. No mixing bowls. Nothing to use the oven. The outlet to use the coffee maker is above the stove - we had to put our cooler on the stove with the coffee maker on top to reach the outlet. And there were no ice cube trays for the freezer.All of Niagara was a disappointment except for the state park. The city is run down and in many parts deserted. We found Lewiston (a town just up the river) was delightful and Fort Niagara was fun to visit. Maid of the mist

Location is perfect: calm residential area with walking distance to Rainbow Bridge and all attractions. Trolley and public transportation stops are near the property.The apartment was clean and had new furniture and appliances. Suggestion: it will be good to have night lights near the bed. When we came, we did not have enough towels, utensils and cups, but the host was pretty nice to provide them for us when we asked. We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment.
