Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this neighborhood because it has that rare balance of peace, community, and connection to the city. Clarence Avenue is lined with mature trees, friendly neighbors who greet you by name, and a calm energy that makes you feel at ease the moment you arrive.
What we’ve enjoyed most over the years is the walkability to Flapjack Brewery - one of the best wood fired Neapolitan style pizza you will have. (Less than 10 min walk)
Gaia Ristorante Italiano - Best Italian food in town. (Less than 10 min walk)
Lavergne's Tavern - Great spot for food and drinks. (Less than 5 min walk)
When the weather’s nice, we love relaxing in the backyard or taking evening strolls with neighbors. It’s quiet enough for restful nights but close enough to downtown Chicago that you can be at the lakefront or a museum in under 20 minutes. It really feels like a hidden gem—urban convenience wrapped in small-town charm.

What makes this property unique
We’ve spent six years shaping this home with intention. From the sun-drenched living room perfect for morning coffee, to the thoughtfully designed kitchen that’s hosted countless family meals, there’s a sense of warmth and calm that guests immediately feel when they walk in. The backyard is a peaceful retreat, ideal for winding down after a day in the city, complete with string lights, mature greenery, and space to breathe. Inside, you’ll find a mix of modern essentials and timeless touches—not generic, but grounded.
