Beautiful neighborhood. Host was gracious enough to allow us to enter early. Short walk to grocery store with very reasonable prices and a very impressive assortment of hot prepared food.I would recommend it.
The property was awesome kids love the pool table and bunk beds also the couches definitely pet friendly everyone in the area was nice got some good places to eat from a cpl ppl convenient area also parking was great the host always answerd and helped in anyway highly suggest staying here if visiting Chicago
Perfect place for my family, just outside of the city. Neighbors were great, host was amazing, and the place was perfect for my teenage boys!! Lots of space to sleep and the pool table was a fantastic bonus! Walkable neighborhood, and if you prefer public transportation there are a ton of options!! Definitely will look up this host for future trips!
The location is great. It was in great distance of everywhere I needed to go. The apartment itself was lovely. Lennell responded to all my messages promptly. The only problem I had was that the main bedroom didn't have any heat
Nice space and could have held more people if we had a bigger group. Any issues we had the host helped. Only thing we didn’t like was there wasn’t hand soap in the bathroom or any trash bags.
The host was very responsive, and the place was clean and safe, exactly what we needed in a landing pad for our babymoon getaway to Chicago! The access to the metra (commuter rail, NOT L train service) and bus service was nice, but I do want to let other travelers know there’s not a ton of food options nearby nor many dishes (cups, plates, cutlery) or an ice machine/molds in the apartment. The walls are mostly bare, and you can certainly hear the neighbors who seemed to argue nightly during our stay. We also only had one roll of paper towels and one full roll of toilet paper which was thankfully enough since we stayed out exploring for most of our trip. Overall, we appreciated the space and it worked for us, but wanted to let anyone with a larger group/more needs know before booking! Thanks Lennell for hosting us!

The apartment was nice and cozy. I will say there are not many plates(3), bowls(2), or cups(5). There is no silverware at all. When we walked in there was a used luffa and body wash in the bathroom. I ended up throwing these away right away. There were also no trash bags in the trashes or anywhere in the apartment. The pool table was a nice perk. We were in downtown Chicago for the 2 days we were here so we did not hangout in the apartment very much. Nothing the host can do about this but the apartment building when you walk in does smell like cigarettes so if you are sensitive to smells be warned. The neighbor hood you drive through is very nice and pretty but the streets right by where the train station is are a little sketchy. The train is right next to the apartment but you cannot hear it at night! I would say it was good for the price but definitely not a place I could see myself spending the day in. The bed in the main bedroom is very soft so if you have a bad back be careful. My other guest slept on the bunk bed. They said that bed was very firm. Over all we did enjoy our stay.

No heat in master bedroom, pool table is unusable as one side of the legs is bent so the balls just roll all to one side, bunkbed in 2nd room multiple bolts are missing so the top bunk is unusable and definitely unsafe, futon in 2nd room had no legs and was bent/broken you couldn't even sit on it, water damage/possible mold around entire bottom wall perimeter of unit, burn holes in living room couch, huge tear in chaise covered with a pillow, used ashtrays in master bedroom, kitchen eating bowls used as ashtrays, bedroom closets unusable as they're full of supplies and misc items. It looks like this entire unit was slapped together from the local thrift store.

Guest was actually mad because she let her kids urinate all over the mattresses and I had to throw them away And she didn't wanna pay.
Owners I would advise never rent to her!

Check-in was fairly easy, though the space itself was not very clean - floors, towels, and bathtub were visibly dirty and smelled of mildew. There was only one plate and no bowls or utensils at all. Location was great, though - very close to buses and Metra.
