We enjoyed our stay in the Kodiak cabin! The place was great for the 2 of us and had everything we needed. Located just outside of Seward, which was nice and quiet.
perfect place to come back to after a day of hiking around Seward.......many trails close by..........beautiful river at the end of the street.........great bed, wonderful hot water........we would stay here again (if we can ever get back to Seward)!
Really enjoyed our stay at the Kodiak cabin! Perfect for two! Loved being a short distance from Seward in the forest! Perfect for an Alaska adventure! The court yard was very relaxing after a day of site seeing and hiking!
My husband and I stayed two nights. Very short drive into downtown Seward. This stay had everything we needed. Clean- good use of space. I also accidentally left an item after our stay was over and host was very responsive in helping me out and offered convenient pick up. Could not thank him enough for his hospitality! Would recommend this stay for anyone.
Spent 4 days visiting Seward. This cabin is perfect for 2 and is only minutes away from downtown Seward, Exit Glacier, grocery store and gas stations. Very comfortable bed and the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The property was easy to find using owner's directions and was very clean. WIFI was consistent, which we appreciated! This is a much better option than the lodges, IMO. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This is a fabulous facility…your own little cabin. Very quiet. Wonderful king sized bed. Great place to launch all your adventures from: Exit Glacier, Dog sled Rides, Marine Boat Tours. Great restaurants just in town, and a supermarket if you want to eat in one night, or for breakfast. Would definitely return! Thanks.
By the time you added all the fees the price was nearly double the advertised rate. This felt quite misleading to us. Please be more straight forward with your advertising

Cabin in the front yard
It is really a storage shed converted into a one room efficiency, located in the front yard of adjacent duplexes. Only a shared picnic table for outdoor amenity. There is no bathroom sink and the floors are not level. It is functional but way overpriced. Thankfully we only had to sleep there; hanging out would have been dreadful.
The location was wonderful, and we enjoyed the quiet area. Although the cabins are close together, we didn't hear our neighbors. Other reviews mentioned the lack of a sink in the bathroom. We didn't think it would matter to us, but it did. It created a little chaos in the small kitchen area to have our bathroom toiletries there. There is very limited counter space. For four nights that got a little annoying. There was also an odd odor in the cabin we couldn't pinpoint, but it was very clean. If you plan to wash clothes bring a lot of quarters, they want $6 to wash and dry one load.
Rented Kodiak on the VBRO web page. It was easy. We enjoyed our stay at Kodiak Cabin. It is located close to everything we went to in Seward. The hosts were friendly and helpful. I would recommend renting this cabin.
Clean, cozy and quiet was exactly what we were looking for. Short drive into Seward. Owners very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.
