About the host
Hosted by Jared Hall
Hi, I’m a local host who loves the outdoors and spending time around the water. I’m from the North Georgia area and have always enjoyed fishing, boating, and quiet weekends on the lake. Weiss Lake has been one of my favorite places for years because of the incredible fishing, peaceful scenery, and beautiful sunsets.
I decided to host this property because it’s such a unique spot and I wanted other people to be able to experience it the same way I do. Whether guests come for a fishing trip, a relaxing weekend getaway, or just to unplug from city life, it’s always great knowing they get to enjoy the lake and the quiet surroundings.
As a host, my goal is simple: make sure guests have an easy, comfortable stay and everything they need to enjoy their time on the water. I’m always happy to help with local tips about fishing spots, boat launches, restaurants, or anything else that might make your trip better.
I hope you enjoy the lake as much as I do!

Why they chose this property
I chose this location because it’s one of the most peaceful spots on Weiss Lake while still being easy to get to from Atlanta and North Georgia. The property sits right on the water along the Coosa River channel, so you get beautiful lake views, deep water access, and some of the best fishing on the lake.
What I enjoy most about this area is how quiet and relaxing it is. You’re surrounded by nature, open farmland, and wide water views, so it feels like a true getaway from the city. The sunsets over the lake are incredible, and at night the sky fills with stars because there’s very little light pollution.
Weiss Lake itself is famous for fishing, especially crappie, and it’s common to see boats out early in the morning or people fishing from docks along the shoreline. At the same time, it’s also a great place to slow down—sit by the water, enjoy a campfire, watch the sunset, and just relax.
It’s the kind of place where you can spend the day on the water and the evening enjoying the quiet atmosphere, which is exactly why I love it here.

What makes this property unique
What really makes this property unique is how close you are to the water and how private the setting is. The camper sits on its own private waterfront lot and is only about 10 feet from the Coosa River channel on Weiss Lake, so you’re truly right on the water rather than across the road or down a hill like many lake properties.
Guests also have access to a private dock and private boat ramp, which is rare for a small getaway like this. You can launch your boat, fish, and tie up right at the property without dealing with crowded public launches or marinas. For anglers visiting Weiss Lake, that convenience makes a big difference.
Another thing that makes the property special is the peaceful setting. The lot is surrounded by open cotton fields and nature, so it feels very quiet and secluded. In the evenings you can watch beautiful sunsets over the water, and at night the sky fills with stars because there is very little light pollution in the area.
The 36-foot camper sits under a pole barn, which keeps it shaded and comfortable while still allowing you to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere. Many guests spend their time relaxing outside by the fire pit, fishing from the dock, or just enjoying the lake views.
It’s a simple place designed for people who love the outdoors—great fishing, quiet surroundings, and direct access to the water—which is what makes it stand out from most other stays on Weiss Lake.
