Buck's Cabin: Cozy retreat with hot tub. Pet- & kid-friendly!

Bring the whole family or your friends to this cozy cabin with lots of room for fun and relaxation. Check out the local breweries and wineries, take the kids apple picking, go for a hike or horseback riding, golf, tennis, skiing, and the lake are close by. Amazing sunrises and Founder's Overlook is just one mile away. Skiing is a 3-minute drive and trails are across the street. Take advantage of our fire pit, BBQ, and hot tub outside with Pac Man arcade and board games for indoor fun.

One-story home with ample room for friends and family for four-season fun and relaxation. Gas fireplace, high-speed internet with smart TVs in all bedrooms and living room. Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms sleep up to 9 people (7 beds). 3-minute drive from skiing and close to lots of outdoor activities. Popular rental recently updated.

Fire pit, grill, and hot tub in backyard. 4 rockers and large swing on front porch, plus ski and boot holders.

Sheets, towels, basic kitchen and BBQ supplies provided. Up to 2 dogs allowed with pet fee (no cats).

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please turn off the ice machine and return the temperature to 70 (A/C) and 68 (Heat).
Take the trash to the dumpster up the road at the Aquatic Center (so we don't attract bears).
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
SMOKING: If the cleaning team determines the house was smoked in, you will be assessed a $400 fee.
TRASH: If you do not remove all trash prior to check-out, you will be assessed a $25 fee.
DOGS: Dogs (up to 2) are allowed as long as prior arrangements have been made with the host. Please contact the host for more information.

Perfect place to relax at Wimtergreen for our family of 4. Loved the hot tub and right on a shuttle stop so could leave teens skiing and adventure around super easily. Host was easy to reach and answered questions quickly. Would book again next time!

We had a perfect weekend at Buck’s cabin—it was peaceful and ideal for unplugging. Check-in was easy, and the host was available and responsive throughout our entire stay. The cabin itself was spotless, and the bedding smelled incredibly fresh and clean, which made it feel even more comfortable.The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the cozy living room made it easy to relax and spend quality time together. After a long day, the hot tub was clean and absolutely perfect for unwinding.Overall, it was a wonderful family weekend, and we’d happily return again.

Loved staying at Buck’s! Celebrated my bachelorette weekend with my closest friends and this was the perfect spot. Plenty of space, big kitchen and new amenities! Loved the hot tub and all the local critters we saw in the mornings.

This home is spacious while being cozy. It is well appointed with many amenities and clean. The kitchen especially was well stocked with utensils and appliances. While there was no view of the mountains from the home, we walked to a couple of lookouts for some great views of the Wintergreen region. We enjoyed the relaxing and quiet stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The kitchen was very well stocked, the home was clean. We lived all the variety of board games and pac man. The beds and comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi after a day at the wineries. We will definitely be returning again.

It was a very comfortable stay, the beds and furniture were great. We love the porch with the fire pit. The front porch was great to sit on also. We didn't cook much but the kitchen was fully stocked if we had wanted to. Definitely would recommend the cabin. We will be back again.

Honestly this was the best communication I have ever had with a host ever. The host, Ashley, checked on us via text a couple of times during our stay and made sure we were ok which was appreciated. Pre-trip, any detail I needed to know was provided via email allowing plenty of time prepare and plan for our stay. Check in was as easy as it gets. This house was impeccable and appears to have been recently updated. It was spotless upon arrival and seems to be very well maintained. We stayed the first week in April and it was very, very quiet. All in all, we had a great trip and I can’t say enough about how awesome the host was with communicating. Would 100% recommend this house and host and look forward to returning in the future.

The mountain is full of wonderful things to do in all the seasons. Apple-picking and for the family. Spa days are not far away, and you can sample beverages from dozens of wineries and breweries on the mountain. It's got everything you need!

What makes this property unique

The property has gorgeous views and we've made this a great home-away-from-home. From outdoor dining with grill and fire pit and hot tub, to indoor games (including a full-size Pac Man arcade!) for families and a few toys for babies. Make a cup of cocoa while you watch movies. And grab a cup of coffee as you head out in the morning to watch the sun rise.
