Beautiful updated 3 level home with high ceilings, a wall of windows & game room

This well-appointed home offers an inviting retreat for you to relax and recharge. Recently remodeled, it now has an upscale, modern, yet still cabin-y vibe.

The large, wraparound deck is great for BBQ'ing with friends, playing a competitive game of cornhole, or just kicking back watching the native Blue Jays and resident squirrels frolic in the trees.

The downstairs gameroom includes a pool table, a foosball table and an authentic vintage style stand up video game system which includes such favorites as Pac-Man, Donkey Kong and Frogger!

The bedrooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated, each with a smart tv, to stream your favorite shows.

The kitchen has all new stainless appliances and is fully stocked with everything you need. The master bath has a very relaxing stone scape shower and deep tub.

Close to the lake, shopping, dining, movie theater, and hiking and only a 30 minute drive from Snow Valley ski resort, this cabin is great for all seasons. Located on a quiet street with parking for 3 cars.

Great Wi-Fi and AC. Sleeps 6. Please ask for permission for more than 6 people.

PLEASE NOTE:

This property is not suited for loud groups and partying though it’s perfect for gathering and bantering with a small group of family and friends while respecting our neighbors. Please find another option if you foresee any potential noise issues for the sake of all involved (e.g., A boisterous bachelor/ette weekend, hosting a wedding after-party, Spring Breaking, etc.). Absolutely no parties!

Great Christmas Getaway!

We rented the house during the week of Christmas and it was a beautiful getaway!! It exceeded my expectations in all ways and we were grateful for the experience.

A Mountain Gem!

Our family spent a month in Karin’s home and we can’t wait to come back! The location is very quiet compared to some of the more touristy areas in Lake Arrowhead. However it was a short drive to the area attractions, very centrally located. The deck was our favorite spot and the sun hit the deck and warmed you in the morning and set behind us so it was cool in the afternoons.Home was very clean and and well organized. Would definitely recommend and hope to return next year!

Love this cabin! Looking forward to staying again.

Everything about this cabin is welcoming. Plenty of room. Downstairs is great! Our favorite part is the declivitous pool table. The location is wonderful too. Close to everything you might want, but still private. Karin is a fantastic host. Always available via phone and/or email.

Fun and relaxing cabin

We had a great time at this cabin! Communication with the the person in charge was great, the check in time was 4 but they let us in a bit earlier. The cabins lay out was great for us , we had a 2 yrs toddler so stairs were a problem for us so I’d recommend contact management and see if they can provide a couple of baby gates. The cabin was clean but we had to sweep deck and and clean outdoor furniture. The bbq seemed brand new. It takes about 10-15 to go to closest beach and the village driving.

We actually do leave one for our guests in the laundry room plus I ordered a large baby gate "net" about a month ago (that we will bring up in September) which will go in front of the railings. Nice cozy house.

My family and I rented this house mid January, the house is nice, the game room was great for younger generations. Due to recent storm the deck was dirty when we arrived, and when I presented my concern to the owner, Karin, she handled the situation in a polite and a prefessional way, which is the way every owner should be, I truly command Karin for that. However there were lots of high stairs in front of the house, if you have an older adult with heart issues, do not bring them here for their own health, it does get tiring for them.. But of course for younger people doesn't make a difference, just a little exercise :) This house is a great getaway for families, great deck with several tables and chairs and best of all, a bbq grill :) I do recommend this house.

Relaxing family vacation!

We had a wonderful time here for a weekend vacation as a family! Was hoping for snow but CA weather is so unpredictable! Very nice cabin, had plenty of room for all of us. Kids loved sleeping in the game room downstairs and enjoying games of pool. Overall we had a wonderful time and enjoyed relaxing together and playing games and pool. A few needed updates are: We arrived late Friday night so it took a while to heat up the top floor of bedrooms since those vents didn't work. There is a great fireplace on the second floor also that helped heat up everything once we plugged it into another outlet. It took a while to figure out that the fan for it was plugged in a non working outlet. We weren't able to use the Shower on the top floor because the shower head was way to strong and would fall off the pipe. So it took a bit longer for 6 of us to share the one shower but we weren't on a time schedule so no big deal. Loved the beautiful trees surrounding the property and enjoyed our time away.

Perfect for families!

The property was great! Easy access to all and the living quarters were very nice. Plenty of beds for family members and the downstairs play room with pool and foosball tables was very nice. Great closed off hiking road real close by (we had snow so it was fun for the morning hike on the fresh snow).

Just perfect white Christmas!

The property is great, well maintained and Karin went out of her way to make sure we were doing well and enjoying our stay. The house is beautiful and has a wonderful view. Even though we couldn't go anywhere one of the days because of the storm, there was plenty of activities in the house. My little one didn't want to leave the house she wants to play every single game :) and the balcony full of snow gave her the chance to make her first snow angel. She was really happy! It was a really great experience. Thank you Karin!

Ideal location, delightful home

This property is an attractive, clean and well stocked older home with air-conditioning. The outdoor balcony is a refuge of song birds and whistling trees, where we dined in the mornings and evenings. Down stairs has a fun game room. This home is just a few driving miles from a grocery store, Lake arrowhead and the village making this an ideal location. Not knowing that LA is a private lake, I did not realize the importance of having Lake rights, which this property has. Bring floating devices in the summer as the water is clean and refreshing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to vacation in this home again.

Perfect for families! Would stay again

We had a wonderful time. Karin was excellant at replying quickly to all the questions I sent her about the house & Lake Arrowhead activities. She had the house fully stocked with everything you need. It was very well organized & everything was easy to find right where she said it would be. The game room was a big bonus for the kids & adults. I loved the tri-level layout! Wonderful wilderness getaway close everything

My family and I stayed at Karin's place for 5 months and loved it! The place is spacious, there is a peek-a-boo view of the lake, a great network of hiking trails are just a few minutes walk away, and everyone around was very friendly. Plus, we were only a few minutes drive from Blue Jay Village and just over 10 minutes drive to Lake Arrowhead Village and about the same to Sky Park. The place has a nice wilderness, getaway feel while still being close to everything. If we decide on another temporary stay in Lake Arrowhead we will be sure to reach out to Karin and Mark about staying in their lovely home. They were excellent and very responsive hosts.

Had an awesome family vacation.

We had such a great stay at this mountain home. There was plenty of room for our family with the three bedrooms. We had a blast in the game room with the pool table and foosball table. The setting is very quiet with pines around. Had fun at the beach club and even did some fishing. It is close to town and to the village. The reservation process was easy and Karin was quick to respond to questions we had. This was the second time to visit this home and both times were very enjoyable and we plan to be back.

Our family had the best time ! Beautiful and cozy cabin . Close to everything . My son especially loved the game room with the pool table and all the video games . Cozy Cabin

This cabin is a great place for families. We love the bunk beds and the game room. It is very close to the movie theater, stores and restaurants. The village is close too. Karin was great at answering questions quickly. This in fact was the second time we rented the cabin and would love to come back!

The cabin was great - comfortable and had everything we needed. The only issue was the lack of heat on the third floor. A space heater would have been nice. But there were a lot of blankets...... Karin responded to all questions quickly and was very helpful with information about local places to visit. We would love to come back in the spring.

Beautiful and warm and inviting. It was a family experience to cherish!

Everything you needed was provided, except your tooth brush and food! There was cable TV, and warm inviting fire place (infact 2!) and close to everything!. The games and downstairs family room had so much for the kids to do, including a pool table and a wi! We all had a wonderful time, and will go back again and again!

Perfect Vacation

This home had everything we needed to feel at home, and enjoy everything Lake Arrowhead & surrounding communities have to offer. The kids loved the game room. I enjoyed the puzzles and the kitchen equipment. We all enjoyed the beaches & nature walks.

Fantastic family getaway!

My boyfriend's band plays the Village every year for 4th of July, so we decided to make a family trip out of it this year and stay in town for a few extra days. The Watkins cabin was the perfect fit for our two families with kiddos ranging in age from 9-15. It's obvious the Watkins' place is not just a rental for them but a home away from home too. They provide ample bedding, linens, and towels, and the kitchen is very well stocked for a variety of meals. Everything was clean and organized, and the decor was very home-ey and comfortable. The amenities are countless, and we found almost everything in working order and as listed -- I say almost because the Wii equipment and the darts should probably be inventoried again :) There were a couple of things missing that were listed and the kiddos were bummed about but certainly not anything that affected our stay! Really, this cabin was perfect for us - spacious and clean and very easy to stay in. A couple of things to note -- 1) We had absolutely zero issues with neighbors. Everyone we ran into was either super friendly or just left us alone. 2) On the holiday, the fireworks can be seen from the deck but are filtered through trees. Nothing a quick journey up the street and a peek between houses couldn't fix! 3) Karin was very quick to answer our questions and very accommodating with our particular issues. Overall, we loved our little vacation here! What a great cabin to come home to after a day on the lake. Thank you, Watkins family, for sharing your little piece of paradise!!

We had a blast!

My family and I enjoyed the cabin so much! We had plenty of room and the kids loved playing in the game room. The location was perfect and it was a very short drive to The Village (and Coach outlet), market and restaurants. It was so convenient, I would definitely stay there again with my family.

Hi, we are the Watkins Family! We live in San Diego but spend much of our time in Lake Arrowhead at our second home in the mountains. Our kids are now 21 and 24 but were very little when we first purchased this home so you can imagine the many memories we have made here.

Why they chose this property

We chose Lake Arrowhead as our second home destination because of the many summers (and a few winters) I had spent here with my parents and sisters, as a child. It felt so familiar, peaceful and fun-filled that I wanted my own children to grow up with these same memories. It's convenient to get to and has so much charm.

What makes this property unique

We were drawn to this property because of the tall A-frame ceiling and wall of windows. We love exploring and being adventurous but sitting by the fireplace, in front of those windows, was so peaceful, we could be completely content just staying in and enjoying quiet time together. We have just completed our 3 year remodel and are thrilled to share our beautiful home with you!
