About this property
Comfy, Quiet or Fun 1 bedroom camp in Pine, AZ. Room for 3 more in sleeping bags
Located in Pine, AZ this campground is a dream. Nestled in a cool and peaceful setting, guests will find a cozy bedroom with 1 queen bed and plenty of space for 3 more so bring your sleeping bags or blankets ( overnight lows are 64 degrees Fahrenheit).
It is 256 square feet, Over 2,000 cubic ft. 7’8” tall 6’ at the edges. The huge tent has room on the Tent Floor for 3 more adults. With heating available, guests can stay warm and comfortable during their stay. Fall in love with Pine, AZ and enjoy the magic it has to offer.
Right by the East Verde River and just a few miles from the Verde River. Fishing tackle for one at your disposal, a game of darts (for adults) a slingshot for practice against a Goliath, cowboy cable (Campfire) to gather around, roast marshmallows, propane 3 burner stove and griddle for pancakes or burgers. What are you waiting for?
This isn’t organized camping, there won’t be a neighbor right next door. You will most likely have a deer or two come stroll through your campsite as they walk about the town of Pine and are more visible than the town folk or visitors.
So drive up, no set-up, grab your food and beverages and get busy relaxing, grab one of two hammocks (one adult and one small child), grab one of two camp chairs or climb into the queen sized bed with clean linens and fluffy pillows and look up at the stars through one or more of 8 windows and two doors. Wake up refreshed and do it all over again. No exhausting setting up or dirty break down just come and go, we’ll take care of the rest.

About the host
Hosted by Pk Pine

I’ve lived in the valley of death (Phoenix 122 degrees yesterday), the Tucson desert and glorious stream lined mountains of Arizona for over 30 years.
I’m a combat veteran and a graduate of the Univrersity of Arizona and I am addicted to being outdoors in the fresh air but sometimes I still want all the comforts (definitely a real bed and good nights sleep when I’m out enjoying the outdoors)
And sometimes I even want or need for work purposes or emergencies the technology that I have at home (I always want electricity but no noise). I want TV (Sometimes) when the “Cowboy Cable” is on fire restrictions. But I want everyone off their phones and electronic devices but still have the ability to keep them charged up for emergency purposes only. Nobody is looking down at their electronic devices they are all looking up at you with smiles on their faces.
You will take years off your life by sitting in a hammock in the shade talking to friends or loved ones with your dog by your side following no schedule or judgement about when meals or drinks are served or consumed. And if you want to break away for twenty minutes to an hour then Pine AZ is two miles away from the campsite and they have everything you would expect from a town of 1,000 ppl. A town market (you never heard of-family run is stocked with food, alcohol, wine, beer, cigarettes ) a tavern and local kitchen are attached and offer the best damn burger, salads and hot wings too.
Local and smile friendly pizza makers next to a 4 pump gas station but inside the station has all the trimmings of a QT, Bucky’s, Circle K or 7-Eleven.
Then places to buy locally made beef jerky, honey, a steepled church, an Early Bird cafe by another local family, a Fire Station where all the guys will stop & talk to you, local sheriff sits at the diner and Elk and Deer walk along the streets and through the 30+ shops just like they are browsing for antiques or fresh made Jams and candles. You will love the people & town.

Why they chose this property
Pine and Strawberry are the two best towns in all of Arizona. The people are kind and friendly. The salt of the earth. Humble and helpful. Apathetic and not arrogant.
All the social and economic classes are represented but they are all happy to see you and treat you the same.

What makes this property unique
The uniqueness of this property is that the property only has one goal and purpose. And that is to provide a relaxing environment where everything you need is all within reach.
Everything is meant to be easy and rewarding. It makes the people around you when they see you laying in the shade sipping on a beverage say to you “I’m getting ready to do what you are doing so if you want me to bring you another chilled or toasty beverage speak now because my “Do Not Disturb” is going up on my hammock too!
