It was very clean, had a wonderful view, and had a fully furnished kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room so it felt very comfortable to stay.

We had a lovely week of rest and recovery! The cabin had amazing views, was clean, and close to town. With the cabin being new, it had thoughtful amenities, stocked with the essentials. Brian was super responsive when questions were asked!

This place was amazing, it was beautiful ! Loved the furnishing and how well it was stocked with coffee, firewood, fire starter that worked wonderful ! Also the bathrooms had all the necessities needed and the whole cabin was very clean. Brian the host was wonderful to work with and always returned a response to all my messages !! Hopefully can stay again sometime soon !!

Beautiful new house- very comfortable and fully stocked for a relaxing and fun stay. We enjoyed watching the horses at the farm and had many deer wandering close by.

The pictures did not do it justice. It was even better! The bedroom and bathroom setup was great for our group of seven. We loved being able to have a fire on the deck and the gas logs inside. The kitchen had everything we needed. Ping pong was definitely a hit. We were there when the tropical storm from Isaias came through. The rains and winds were not a problem, just made for a memorable experience. We loved how close the house was to Blue Ridge! Loved the view of the neighboring farm and watching the cows!

Awenasa Basin Lodge is picture perfect and the hosts thought of all details to make the stay incredibly comfortable. The location is nestled away with a fantastic mountain view, but less than 10 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and fabulous outdoor fun. We have “hearted” the home so we can book another family retreat there again soon!

We had the best time at Brian’s cabin! We wanted a relaxing getaway for a week and that’s what we got! The cabin was extremely clean, the game room was so much fun with our kids, and the view overlooking the horse farm was magical! Truly a wonderful week with lots of memories made! Can’t recommend this cabin enough! We will be back.

We were very impressed by the home's appearance, the cleanliness, the comfort, the amenities, and the hosts! It's very difficult to find a home away from home to be able to relax and enjoy the surroundings, but we definitely found it with Awenasa Basin Lodge! The home with it's outdoor room was wonderful! We loved the fireplace and TV while enjoying cool breezes and warm coffee! We cannot wait to return!

The cabin was very comfortable, stocked well and very tastefully decorated. The view overlooking the pasture was pretty and listening to the cows moo off in the distance was a nice touch.

Perfect in every way for a four sister mountain getaway. The home is spacious which is great when you want some private space after fun filled days. We were very close to the town of Blue Ridge which allowed us to participate in different activities there daily. Also great location for a home base for hiking and to explore the falls located in other towns. The beds were comfy-kitchen stocked with basics to prepare meals. I wouldn’t change a thing and definitely would stay there again.
