Miramar was safe and roomy, and had great views and support services. The positives for this property include support from Seascape Rentals (Paula and Paulina), a beautiful house, the beach a short walk away, lots of indoor and outdoor seating/dining, 2 refrigerators, an ice machine, plastic wear for the pool area, great A/C and beds/linens, the Beach Club and the Pinilla Market. And the dragonflies! No bugs! There were 15-40 dragonflies eating mosquitos around the pool most of the time. The downside: golf course reflected the dry season - but a few beautiful holes. You must either rent a car or spend a lot extra for a golf cart (don't use Rent Me Tamarindo) and excursion transportation. Going to town is no small endeavor. We were fortunate to have hired Chef Nelson Arias (takeachef.com) who went to town a few times and took us with him. Despite construction in the area, we did not find it to be very disruptive.
