You'll love this great 2 bedroom / 1 bath UPPER-story of a beachside getaway only 400 feet from the surf. It features Phenomenal Views from just about every room & provides beachfront views and beach access without the big beachfront price tag. Guests can relax on the wrap-around deck or take a short walk to enjoy the surf and sand. Please note that we do NOT allow parties at Easy Does It and the lower floor is not used during rentals so guests can enjoy the property for themselves. In addition, Easy Does It has an exterior Security System that monitors the site. COVID-19 cleaning measures include use of GermGuardian HEPA Air Purifier with UV Light Sanitizer between every rental.
The house is conveniently located in Sunny Beach, the first West-End neighborhood closest to all of Galveston's attractions. Located next to Pocket Park #1, it is also an easy walk to Woody's Open-Air Bar that features Live Music and spectacular gulf views!

This top floor rental offers an inviting open living area surrounded by windows with ocean views that can't be beat. A kitchen, full bathroom and two bedrooms make this the perfect choice for a beachside escape. The first bedroom is spacious with one king-size bed & one double-size bed and fantastic water views. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed with a small private balcony which is a perfect spot to watch the awesome sunsets that grace Galveston each evening.

An outdoor shower and large BBQ area under the house round out this great Galveston beach house. The lower floor is not used during rentals so guests can freely avail themselves of the large covered picnic area. Guests can walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes! Sunny Beach is just past the west end of the Seawall at 8 Mile Road and FM 3005. The neighborhood is also located close to Galveston's Seawall and is only a short drive to grocery stores, restaurants, Moody Gardens, Fishing Piers, attractions, and Downtown Galveston.

Great Getaway

We had a short stay at Sunny Beach for New Year's Eve weekend, and we had a fantastic time. The propery is very clean, and looks just like the pictures. The view from the deck was amazing, and the walk to the beach only took a few minutes. The check-in was easy, and the host was very responsive. I would stay here again.

Nice place to stay

Husband and I stayed here when we visited Galveston for a family event. The house was very clean, two bedrooms with three beds so plenty of sleeping space. Easy walk to a beach that was almost private with no cars on it. One thing that was surprising was that here were no amenities that a VRBO like this typically has. No beach towels, nothing in the kitchen (no salt, sugar, staples, etc), no information about local restaurants, no shampoo, bedding is clean but not upscale, etc. Overall a very nice place to stay, would stay here again, just bring all your own supplies!

This property has a beautiful view from the balcony, easy access to the beach, a less crowded beach location, and everything you need for a relaxing stay. The owners were very quick to respond when I had a question, and it was very clean.

Perfect family beach getaway

We loved this property. Perfect size for a smaller group. We have stayed in nearby condos before, but love this location with a little more privacy and less crowded beach area. The condo was cute, comfortable and roomy for a well priced rental. The deck area is hot in the morning, but more comfortable once it’s in the shade and a great place to hang out in the evening hours. Only steps away from easy access to to beach and rinse showers on the ground level of the rental. We would definitely come here again.

Fantastic!

Very reasonably priced property with an excellent view of the Gulf! It takes only a few minutes walk to the beach and the location is awesome. Far enough away from the sea wall to get away from all the hustle and bustle yet close enough to grocery stores to quickly get anything needed. Also, it has the most comfortable sofas in the universe. Would definitely rent this property again in the future!

Great location to The beach and Downtown

We chose this house for it’s location. We attended the Lone Star Rally events on the Seawall and on The Strand. All amenities, kitchen needs, beautiful Beach view, and comfortable beds were a Bonus!

Birthday Getaway

Looking to get away for our birthdays but didn’t want the hassle of Mexico beaches these days, we found this nice quiet beach house. Located far enough away from the main Galveston sea wall crowds for a relaxing time but close enough to enjoy the town if wanted. The house is very nice, beds are great, hot water, & beautiful beach sunrise from the balcony! We had a wonderful weekend away from the demands of life! We will definitely stay here again!

Steep Stairs and House moves

Initially I was concerned about renting this place due to the outside stairs and the look of them. I should have went with my gut. Although the house is close to the beach there were other houses that were probably closer and less expensive. Every time somebody walked in the house house it shook. Leaving the whole family feeling uncomfortable. I would not stay there again.

Very Lovely vacation

The property was very cozy, the view was nice and the walk to the beach was very close. My only issue was that there were 2 dead roaches found by my kids. My kid also got a splinter going down the stairs. Overall I would recommend it. The owner was responsive when I messaged. My little family had a very nice and relaxing few days.

Great Cozy Spot for a Long Weekend

Great views for both the sunrise and sunset. Awesome location to be able to get into town but be far away from the bustle. Very close to the beach in a family-friendly neighborhood. Comfortable beds, linens, and seats. And had plenty of room for a family of four. I didn't realize we would be on the third floor, which when I reread the description it did say, "upper floor."

We've been enjoying Galveston Island with our family for a generation and know just how special the island can be. Our kids enjoyed countless hours with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins in the surf and sand of Galveston and we built Easy Does It with an eye to offer those fun times for others. We picked the location for its phenomenal views and easy beach access which are the two distinctive features we found really important and special to our family over the years. Ultimately we aimed for something that lets one unwind and enjoy the moment. At the same time, we wanted to keep an eye on affordability. Easy Does It is the result.

Easy Does It has the unique benefit of overlooking the great Gulf of Mexico and a natural pond and wetlands area. Quiet early morning sunrises must be seen to be believed! They can be spotted while lounging inside on a big comfy couch or over a hot cup of coffee from the peaceful serenity of the wrap around deck. Sunsets also are not to be missed. The spectacle of color is impossible to describe. The furnishings provide a relaxed, comfortable environment and the deck invites one to exhale and enjoy the majesty of the ocean, the wetlands, the early morning sunrises and spectacular evening sunsets. The house is so close to the beach, guests can easily transport beach equipment to and from & avail themselves of the food and facilities without inconvenience. AND if a guest wants to enjoy live music and an adult beverage or two, there's no need to get in the car. Woody"s Open-Air bar is a short walk away.
