Great stay. Location of this house is perfect. It is close to everything. The neighborhood is safe. This house is well stocked with everything a vacationer might need. The host is easy to contact if necessary. We really enjoyed our stay at St Michaels Retreat. We hope to stay there again next year.
Loved our time at St Michael's Place. Great house and neighborhood. And our dog loved going to the dog park just down the street. She made a lot of new friends. The neighborhood is very quiet and neighbors are friendly. If ever in Charleston again will definitely stay there. Trish was wonderful to work with too.
This is pur 2nd time staying and we just love this house. Trish is amazing and gave us great recommendations. House is well stocked with anything you may need. Grocery stores are right up the road, laocal places to eat, the brunch farmers market all with in walking distance. I cannot say enough good things. Oh and sitting out on the patio in the evening was so relaxing.
Super friendly and helpful host. We asked for a baby high chair and after just 2 hours later Trish brought us a new one to the house. It’s a cozy and authentic house in a very nice neighborhood. In the kitchen you can find everything you need and also a lot of ingredients like sugar and so on are available. We would stay again! Thank you Trish for the stay!

Thanks Lucas! We aim to make stay as comfortable as possible.
Property was perfect for me and my family (two adults, three teens). Quiet residential neighborhood was convenient to Folly Beach, downtown Charleston, and everything else we could have wanted. Far enough from the beach to avoid the busyness of the tourist crowds. The house was also equipped with everything we needed in terms of cookware and cooking supplies (olive oil, spices, etc) which really cut down on how much needless shopping we needed to do. In our downtime it was a great, peaceful neighborhood to just take a walk through.
Lovely home, hospitable host, peaceful friendly neighborhood . I realized how much I loved the area and decided to look for a home to buy. I highly recommend this fantastic experience.
I honestly can not say enough good things about this home. It was the perfect location to Everything. The neighborhood is quite but perfect for walks in the evening. The house itself is a sweet, simple house perfect for what we needed. My Dog loved the fenced in yard to run and play. The 17 year old loved the sunroof and used it as her room while we were there. It has a come home feeling. We had no issues so we did not have to call the owner, but the day we left I called to let her know how much we enjoyed our stay and she was very nice. We will be back.
This home is so comfortable and welcoming. Love the charm, I could easily live in this home! Trish was easy to reach with questions and responded quickly. Good location, great daily walks in the neighborhood and easy access to all of Charleston!
Had a great stay visiting the beaches and historic sites in Charleston. If this house is still available, we'll stay here again when we return in a few years.
We were very comfortable with all of the amenities and well stocked kitchen and supplies. Felt like a home away from home. Close to Charleston and Folly Beach. Communication was excellent. Would recommend staying at this home.
Nice older home in a great neighborhood, close to everything.
Owner easy to work with and easy to contact. Home is I a great location. Nice neighborhood close to everything. Would have given a 5 star rating but the House had a musty smell to it and I would not recommend to anyone who may be sensitive to smells. We had to burn scented candles the entire week to help cover the odor.

St. Michael's
What a charming and cozy home! We enjoyed our month, escaping the Winter in the North. Folly Pier was great and only a short drive. The location is very handy, close to shopping and restaurants. The gardens in the back are very interesting, many birds too.

Cozy Christmas Stay
We felt right at home here for the holidays. The location was great... lovely neighborhood with easy access to everything. The fully stocked kitchen/pantry was particularly appreciated. We found the home and Charleston itself to be very dog-friendly. Would definitely stay there again if visiting the area.

Great two week stay
Great home. I really enjoyed my two week stay, as did my Golden Retriever. After a few days it truly felt like a home away from home.

Comfortable, great neighborhood, lots of little touches
Thank you! We felt right at home. When we arrived my husband bumped his head on the car and we quickly found the first aid kit and bandaids we needed. Comfy bed, great fenced in yards for our pup, coffee filters, lots of towels, great books to read. Easy in and out of the city and Folly Beach. Lovely porch, bicycles, great spot! Don’t miss James Island dog park, everyone so friendly!

Warm and comforting.
Trish's place was like having a home away from home. It was obvious that lots of love went into it and it was exactly the kind of place we needed for our stay. We were there for medical treatment at MUSC and Trish made our trip a little less stressful because of her understanding and generosity. I would highly recommend it if you prefer to be away from the tourist areas or are in need of a refuge for medical care.
