Woodsy

Very up north home, clean, fire pit, roomy, lots of pans and dishes. Other houses I had to go buy some! Only wish we did not have such a hot summer, so the water out front would not have been green! We brought a boat and kept it at the marina. Boating on big green amazing

Wonderful home on Green Lake

Home was large, beautiful, great layout. Large kitchen and table with plenty of chairs. Beautiful view. The only thing we would change would be access to a higher water level for the kids to swim in, but you can’t have everything. Thank you for your hospitality.

Great For Lake View, Not Lake Use

Communication was good, and Ruth was friendly, informative and easy to work with. While the "home" space of this lake home worked really well for us, the "lake" part was very disappointing for our group. The house itself was a great space for our group of 17, with large common spaces and plenty of sleeping space. We also made good use of the lawn and outdoor seating areas. While the view of the lake was beautiful, I would not recommend this rental for those who actually want to use the lake from this location (unfortunately, we did). As noted in the listing, the water is shallow in front of the home. It is also very mucky and there is no easy access into it- a rock border from the yard and no ladder down from the dock. This made getting into kayaks really difficult, especially for the older paddlers in our group. After watching rental neighbors next door struggle with launching and docking their boat (it sustained damage) through the shallow muck, we decided to launch and remove our boat daily from the public launch down the road. The listing also mentions swimming further out in the bay, but again, getting there from this location is pretty difficult and unpleasant. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay, but for next year we'll choose a place with true lake access.

Great family home. Perfect for large gatherings

The Martin Manor has everything. A large, spacious layout provides for excellent gathering of large groups as well as great separation for "kids from adults". The sleeping arrangements worked perfectly for our 8 adults and 8 kids. What you read about the water is true... it is not swimmable, but we brought our kayak and paddle boards which were great. We highly recommend this home if you're looking to get away and stay at Green Lake.

A step above!!

My family and I had the opportunity to stay in this gorgeous Green Lake home a couple weeks ago. We were extremely impressed with all this home had to offer. Plenty of room for our large family, very clean and beautiful decor. The kitchen was a chefs dream, not lacking anything you might need. The backyard offers a lovely firepit to enjoy in the evening and the sunsets over the lake are simply breathtaking. I would highly recommend this home to anyone planning a Green Lake vacation.

So comfortable

This is our second time at The Martin Manor and it was just as much fun as our winter get away. The kids loved running the yard and the whole family got into a serious game of whiffle ball. It was a beautiful experience creating memories for the family

Beautiful Home!

We had a wonderful time at your beautiful lake home. What a treat to pull up and be greeted by an immaculate home with all the amenities of being at home! We had a large group and the bedrooms were comfortable and addressed our needs. The weather was great for June as well... we counted our blessing on that one! Kids played tag and enjoyed your badminton set. My dad (the grandpa of the group) fished off the pier and caught a nice Northern. Tossed him back in as he likes the sport but doesn't have the heart to eat them. Thanks again, we'll definitely be back! Laura
