* This home is truly a relaxing paradise. Very comfortable high end bedding, Tons of thick fluffy towels, , all the kitchenware, spices and condiments you need to cook and enjoys meals at home and Views from everywhere.

* Other homes in the area will claim to have these great views by showing you wide angle pictures but, you end up walking into a small home with very narrow pocket views. Don't be fooled. My home has TRUE 180 degree PANORAMIC views from every deck and room in the home.

* This is my personal residence so I know you will be very comfortable and you will not be disappointed. Its like staying at your personal 5 star luxury hotel.

* If wanting the pool heated for your stay please inquire with owner. SDG&E electric and gas charges have doubled in Jan 2023. The pool heating fee is $50/day for pool heating (87 degrees). Inquire with owner for rate and turning pool heater on.

* If wanting additional guests above 8 persons please inquire with owner. Additional guests fee is $100/day per person for more than 8 persons.

This is an upscale quiet neighborhood so security is always important for the home and guests. There is a Ring doorbell camera located on the front entrance door.
There is an outdoor security camera system. (only outdoor, not indoor!).

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please help by taking all your linens, blankets and towels down to the laundry room and place them in the large laundry bin. Do not leave anything you brought into the home.
Please remove all food from cabinets and refrigerator. Take all trash to the large city trash containers next to garage. Please clean your dishes, any mess on the stove top, oven and refrigerator
If BBQ was used please clean grill top. Do not leave sauces or cheese melted on grill. We charge extra for cleaning appliances and BBQ. Clean any mess left on floors, spilled food or beverages.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD POLICY. - No music or loud profanity on outside decks or pool & hot tub area after 9pm until 9am. Please respect the neighbors!
NO SMOKING / No Pets - Renter will stand to lose their entire deposit if there is any evidence of there has been smoking of any type or a pet in home.
NO PARTIES-Renters will stand to lose entire deposit/run risk of eviction if there is evidence of a party/ added persons not on the reservation.

Relaxing stay in San Diego

We really enjoyed our family getaway and Mark’s place was perfect- from relaxing at the pool, in the jacuzzi or sauna, or just watching movies it was the perfect spot. Also quick to get to the beach, farmers market and good eats! Mark was the perfect host, incredibly responsive to our inquiries. Highly recommend!

Fabulous Vacation Spot

This property was everything we were hoping for. Wonderful pool and jacuzzi. Great views. The kitchen was fully equipped and there were lots of different places to eat, sit and relax. Mark was very quick to respond and checking in and out could not have been more simple.

This property was absolutely gorgeous. The location was safe. The home was beautifully decorated. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay any more than we did. The place was so nice, we ordered food in rather than going out to dinner. We sat by the fire, swam in the pool, enjoyed the San Diego views, went for great walks.... This place is highly recommended.

Gorgeous place, amazing location and the best host

Our stay was amazing and if we ever come back, we’ll definitely stay at Marks beautiful home! Mark was so great at check-in and throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect during our stay. If we txted for anything he responded right away and it was incredibly appreciated! The house is gorgeous, we paid extra for the heated pool, which we loved and the hot tub was awesome! Location was perfect and we’d absolutely all stay (there were 6 of us) there again! We now just need another excuse to go to SD! Highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a great host and beautiful place!

Great stay!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house very much. The house is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. It is spacious, nicely decorated, and included everything we could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We also enjoyed the deck and the amazing views. Mark, the owner, was very responsive to all of our messages. Overall we highly recommend this place. The one thing I would add is that maybe this place is not ideal for families with toddlers, since the first few steps of the staircase have no guardrail.

Comfortable and accommodating

Arriving to the property was given with seamless directions. There is plenty of parking and the neighborhood is gorgeous. Upon entering the house, I was in awe in how beautiful everything was. I spent most of the time in the kitchen and everything was so well marked and organized. I was able to navigate and cook in the kitchen without feeling I was missing anything. The bedrooms are beautiful and decor is flawless. The beds are extremely comfortable. Anything we needed from the outside was within minutes from the house. Definitely will come again. My son loved his family get together and was very appreciative it was in this location.

Amazing Time with an Incredible View

My close friends and I visited San Diego for some brewery tours and were able to find this hidden gem in Pacific Beach. The house was perfect for the six of us - tons of HDTVs for watching playoff basketball, super-comfy living room with a huge couch and TV, spacious bedrooms and all with fantastic views of the bay & ocean as the home is located near the top of the hill. The outside deck area was easily the best feature - lots of space to gather, visit, swim, listen to music and watch the sunset before going out on the town. The home came fully stocked with bath towels, linens, pillows, blankets and everything you could need for your stay. The master bedroom/bathroom were amazing, especially with the direct access to the hot tub on the second floor (which also has an amazing view). Definitely a perfect experience and we all hope to come back soon!

Awesome home and pool, spectacular view !

An awesome property, with a spectacular view! Up in the hills away from the crowds, very much a neighborhood feel, with great amenities and privacy. Nothing is walkable from there, but why would you want to leave? The kitchen was great, as well as the outdoor grill, and we did use food delivery twice. The owner is gracious and easy to communicate with. The only downside, was a button on the hot tub was not functioning properly. He promised it would be fixed before our next trip, if we are to return there. I see that as very likely. Thank you, Mark, for sharing your wonderful home.

Casa Del Amor was an experience that I would do over and over again in a heartbeat! The linens and ambience of the home were comfy yet luxurious. Marks home provided 180 degree view of picturesque views of Mission Bay while allowing you and your guests to enjoy the amenities that most hotel venues in the surrounding area will not provide. With digital high tech devices that controlled everything from sound system to the beautiful deck to the comforts of your bedroom, Casa del Amor provided that and much much more! The surrounding neighborhood was a quiet and safe family oriented area that allowed our family with the peace of mind that our children and personal belongings would be safe. Utilizing the quiet neighborhood to take stroll, the incline of the rolling hills provided great opportunity to get in some challenging cardio, and watch the sunsets and sunrises without having to pay for a guest membership to a gym! The kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms were stocked with various items to make your stay carefree and relaxing. With a quick drive to local popular San Diego Tourist attractions and the train station, this house made it convienient for all our guests traveling from other places. Mark was an amazing host as he was able to provide a well detailed handbook of standard opperating instructions to everything; from the a/c, outdoor fire pit, multiple television sets, and all of the many amenities this home has to offer. Overall this experience was an amazing one! I would HIGHLY recommend it!

Awesome views and great communication

The views were awesome, and we especially enjoyed them when we were in the hot tub. The fire pit was one of my favorite amenities. We were so impressed by the size of the house. The living room with the large windows was my favorite room. The beds were very comfortable and we were supplied with plenty of bedding and towels. Everything was clean and everything worked properly. When we had a question, the owner was very prompt in answering. If we come back to San Diego, we would definitely want to stay there again. We enjoyed the convenient location.

San Diego Rugby Trip

We enjoyed our stay at the Mt. Soledad Beach Paradise. We had a collective group from the East and Midwest to converge in San Diego for a rugby game. The house was very nice with all amenities expected. We utilized the pool and sauna to relax but the balcony and views were HHC best.

Friends started calling me this years ago when Bret Michaels had his Tv show.
They nicknamed me because I was always wearing bandanas and I love 80's hair band music along with Rock n Roll.
I'm originally from Detroit suburbs. 10 Mile, not 8 Mile. Love all Detroit sports teams, Especially the Red Wings, Love 80's Hair band music and Rock n Roll.
My home represents my style. It is very unique and full of character. The home is warm, cozy, inviting and most of all relaxing. A great place to spend with family and friends.
Its my goal to make all my guests feel comfortable and relaxed when on their vacation. I want you to not only love my home but enjoy the great quiet neighborhood and the surrounding areas of Pacific Beach, LaJolla, Little Italy and Downtown Gaslamp

Why they chose this property

I picked San Diego for the amazing weather. I was lucky enough years ago to find this absolute Gem of a home. An incredible unique beach home with amazing views.
Being Located West of I-5 and near the beach was a Must!!
Up on MT. Soledad was exactly what I was looking for. Its only 1 mile up from the craziness in Pacific Beach but you're close enough that you feel you are right at the beach. Close to the beaches yet in a very quiet neighborhood. Just minutes to LaJolla, Little Italy, Downtown and Del Mar and Only 10 minutes to Airport .
Just the perfect location in San Diego. Sea World Fireworks, absolutely beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Outdoor decks and amenities are perfect for straight Lampin! This is truly an amazing property and I am very blessed to have been able to live here for the past 20 years.
