The stay was a 20 long walk from all the main attractions. It was just enough to be out of all the chaos but close enough to enjoy. The place was big and clean. Getting in was a breeze and the host was very communicative I would for sure stay again!

The property was clean with the exception of dog hair on the chairs, sofa, and towels. There was an odor of wet dog. After communicating this with the management we were advised that the prior occupant did have a service animal and an appropriate adjustment was made. Location and comfort was fine. 4 stars overall.

Very cute rental in Salem and nice touches with decor and Salem/Halloween tchotchkes. The property owner/manager was very communicative and responsive. Some honest feedback: The mattress in the one bedroom felt like a half-inflated air mattress. I asked about this and was told it was a 12” mattress. (Perhaps before even the slightest bit of weight is applied to it.) Several lightbulbs were out in the apt, and the toilet seat is either not balanced or broken because you lean to your left when on it. Upstairs neighbors starting pacing at 5am on a Sunday, which - with the creaky floors of an older house - made for a difficult sleeping situation. A bit of a healthy walk into town. Uber is more realistic, especially for the early dark October evenings. If I’d known that I’d be Ubering anyway, I might have stayed at a less expensive/further from Downtown Salem location.
