The place is just what we needed. The owner went the extra mile to get us a book on local hikes. We had elk in the backyard each day...it was beautiful.
The cabin was nice. It’s a cabin so I wasn’t expecting the Ritz Carlton. I wasn’t expecting the spiral staircase but got used to it quickly. A couple issues came up that needed attention but Rhonda was quick to send her handyman to fix them. The wildlife is amazing. Elk, deer, coyotes, squirrels, birds, javelinas, bobcats are plentiful. Hiking trails are great 4-wheeling trails and amazing.
My husband and I absolutely loved this place! It was so relaxing and very cool we saw a few elks up close:) it’s also close to hiking trails and restaurants. We really had an excellent time on our trip! We highly recommend staying at this place! You will love it!
The cabin and property are lovely. If you're looking for privacy and quiet and a place to enjoy nature, this is it. We saw elk from the deck every day. The Pine Trailhead and restaurants are a mile away and Tonto Natural Bridge is a 10 minute drive. We've stayed in a lot of rentals and this was one of the best.
We had the best time at this cabin. It was perfect for our family and had everything we needed for our stay. It's location next to the national forest is a high plus! Our kids and puppy had so much fun playing and exploring while we watched comfortably from lawn chairs.

The house was very clean and organized. It was in a great location to the forest. Saw a lot of wildlife too
This cabin is comfy, well-stocked with kitchen necessities, has space for the whole family (upstairs and down!), and there are lots of family games to choose from. The views from the wraparound porch are lovely. We stayed in the spring, and the trees around the front of the porch were in full bloom, with an amazing scent! Watching the wildlife from the kitchen table is such fun!
Great location. We loved seeing all the wildlife right on the property. Comfortable with lots of room and felt like being in the middle of no where (in a good way).
Lovely cabin in a great location. Loved the wrap around balcony. We enjoyed the wildlife and being surrounded by pines trees. Quiet and relaxing. Wish we were there now.
Overall a great stay! A few little issue popped up, but the cabin was comfortable, the forest was beautiful, and the daily visit by a small herd of Elk was awesome!
Really enjoyed this place. The elk and deer were in abundance, the wrap around deck is perfect for relaxation. The host took care to make sure this was a great stay.
Great property, amazing views and wildlife within walking distance. Awesome communication, couldn’t be easier to check in. We will definitely stay again in the future!
