Lovely location, house was clean and very well stocked with everything you need for a relaxing week. We took advantage of the hot tub, kayaks and swam in the lake almost every day. We also were able to rent a boat on Long lake which is a quick 20 min drive - lots of restaurants and things to do nearby and the host was very responsive with any question we had.

The property and home were absolutely amazing. Check-in was seamless, and the host left a thoughtful surprise for both us and our dog, which was such a nice touch. The kitchen was fantastic and fully equipped with everything we needed to cook a home-made meal. The living room was cozy and inviting, with plenty of games to enjoy while relaxing by the fire as the snow fell outside. The bedrooms were warm, comfortable, and perfect for restful nights. The property itself was stunning, and the hot tub—especially with the breathtaking view of the stars at night—was unforgettable. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful home and property.

The house was wonderful! Very cozy space, warm bedrooms, and ample room for two small families. The kitchen was well appointed and very functional for preparing all of our meals. The hot tub was a great hit with the kids, especially in the cold! We loved the location - easy to get into town, short walk down to the lake, and a nice quiet neighborhood. Lots of wildlife - deer, bald eagles, coyote tracks to name a few! One minor bummer was that the wood stove was electric, not a real fireplace. But probably safer with kids and a rental! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

This was a great place to stay. Nice quiet location but still close to anything that you need. Loved the area and we had a blast at the beach and we really enjoyed the hot tub! Only thing was that bugs were getting into the house at night, we believe they were coming in where the air conditioners were not sealed, so maybe look into sealing them better. Other than that we loved everything about this place! Thank you!

Our stay at Highland Lass was one of the highlights of our Maine vacation! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed like family. The fresh flowers, complimentary coffee, wine, and bottled water were such thoughtful touches that immediately made us feel at home. The house was exceptionally comfortable, spotless, and stocked with everything we needed. It truly felt like a home rather than just a vacation rental. Every evening we gathered around the fire pit to roast Maine red snapper hot dogs and make s'mores, then finished the night relaxing in the hot tub before sinking into the incredibly comfortable beds.Highland Lass was the perfect place to unwind after days spent exploring Maine. The hosts have thought of every detail and genuinely care about their guests' experience. Their hospitality and attention to detail made our vacation even more special. We can't recommend Highland Lass highly enough and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and for sharing such a wonderful home with us!
