About this property
Island Escape - Water Views, Private Pool, Boat Dock, Walk to Beach
Welcome to the Island Escape Beach Retreat! Discover your dream getaway at this upscale, single-level canal‑front home in St. Augustine. Step outside to your own private pool and private dock—perfect for fishermen or those simply seeking waterfront bliss. Relax on the spacious bulkheaded deck or lounge poolside as golden sunsets paint the sky. There is a full fence around the pool area. There is no fence for the channel where the boat dock is. Please be mindful of this if you are booking with kids.
Inside, stay cool and comfortable with central air, or head to the fully equipped kitchen featuring all modern appliances for effortless meal prep. The beach beckons for sunbathing or a long walk by the shore. Ideal for families, couples, or groups of friends, this retreat combines stylish design with waterfront luxury and proximity to the beach. Here, every day ends with magical sunsets—and every night promises rest and relaxation.
The history of St. Augustine is incomparable with almost any other on our coast. Founded in 1565 it is chock full of amazing places to visit, from the oldest house to the first schoolroom, to the impenetrable fort built by the Spanish. Lincolnville, just south of downtown St. Augustine takes you on a walking tour of the history of the civil rights movement noting where Martin Luther King stayed on numerous occasions. Needless to say, there’s also so many unique shops, and the restaurants are so varied and truly have an international flavor! There are things to do no matter the weather! You can take a free boat ride to Fort Matanzas and learn the history about the battles fought. Further south is Marineland where you can swim with dolphins!
The St. Augustine and St Johns County area have a great variety of golf courses for players of every level and skill. There are always concerts at St. Augustine Amphitheatre and events at Francis Field as well. You will never run out of things to do here in St. Augustine. It is probably one of the most beautiful places in all of Florida, and for sure one of the most photographed! Come and see for yourself!
The cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started, you will want to bring some with you. Garbage and recycling must be taken out to the street Sunday night for Monday morning pickup.
Pets and Service Animals: You must let us know if you are bringing an animal to the home, even if it is a service animal! It's important to let the cleaners know. Up to 2 dogs are allowed with a nonrefundable pet fee. They must be less than 50lbs each and no aggressive breeds. NO CATS! Please do not allow your dogs to jump up onto the beds or couches. If the dogs are accustomed to being allowed on the furniture at home, please bring blankets to protect the surfaces. If you forget to bring blankets, let us know and we will provide you with some. If you bring a pet and do not tell us or pay the fee, we will charge your damage deposit for the pet fee plus $100 for the unexpected extra services required to clean the house.
We don't offer refunds or reschedule stays during hurricane season, even if there is an evacuation order. Please purchase trip insurance for your stay if this is a concern.
