Spacious and clean with plenty of room! Neighborhood was quiet. Close to a very nice beach and pier. There is no yard for little ones, but a nice screened in back deck, an opened front deck and a park close by. Those traveling with elderly or wheelchairs may want to look elsewhere. There are several stairs to get to the main living space. I traveled with 12 family members including an 18 month old, (but kept him busy with outdoor activities nearby to wear him out), and my aged parents who struggled with the steps, (but they still enjoyed the area and the stay). This space is perfect for a large family with older children, married couples getaway, or an all women or all men's retreat! Having said all that, with a different group with me, I would indeed stay again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Unfortunately this house was very dirty, bugs, dirty dishes in cabinet, dishwasher falling out of mount, basement bedroom beds worn out, no closet. Mold in bathroom and basement. Heat not working. Communication with host was terrible. I would not recommend to staying there.
Our long weekend at this property with a family of 8, from teens to adults, had several positives and negatives. On the plus side, the spacious living area and proximity to the beach, zoo, and park were great. However, there were issues: two bed frames were broken—the upstairs queen supported by books and still wobbly, the king mattress in poor condition needing replacement, and the basement queen frame was disassembled but fixable. Towels were mismatched, resembling household rags or car wash towels. Communication with the property manager was difficult; we couldn't get the entry code on check-in despite multiple attempts, requiring VRBO to contact the owner. The main living room couch and pillows were stained and dirty, needing steam cleaning. The listing also did not accurately reflect the property, especially in terms of beds, towels, and cleanliness, suggesting a refresh could be beneficial.

Spent a week listening to a terrible loud buzzing noise coming from the inside ac (the air handler). Complained but Owner did nothing. Third floor back bedroom stayed hot, no air flow, had to go buy a fan. Ceiling fan and closet light doesn’t work. Mold in downstairs bathroom. Stove vent not connected, smoke alarm every time we cooked. Dishwasher not connected, leans forward when opened. Bathroom linens cheap, mismatched, stained. Back side steps hanging above ground, be very careful. Had to cut vegetation away from stairs and deck. Driveway full of dirt, bought a hose to clean it. Overall outside condition very bad. Otherwise a roomy and functional space, too bad the owner doesn’t maintain it.

The space was accommodating for our family, and the layout with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms was convenient. However, the unit lacked enough towels, had some mold issues, and needed better maintenance. Several safety concerns stood out, including unsecured appliances, poorly supported beds, and exposed electrical wiring near the deck. With proper upkeep, this property could be much more enjoyable.
