(the video shows the house just after the renovation in 2016. The house recently underwent another large renovation and it is much larger and more spacious. We added 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, enlarged the living room with a spacious sitting area, added an office, enlarged bedrooms and added a large sitting/party area at the rear hot tub deck. The house now has 8 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms.

Large, fabulously appointed multi-million dollar home in the private, gated North Bethany community of The Preserve. The Preserve is the most sought-after community in North Bethany and is the only community east of the highway that has its own pool and tennis court. The private beach is large, expansive and never crowded. The house was recently gutted and renovated with wood floors throughout, Subzero appliances, granite, and no expense was spared. The house is truly a Showcase Home. The home is 50 yards from your own private beach with lifeguards. The house is a easy walk/jog or bike-ride into the town of Bethany (about 1.5 miles). The house has plenty of parking so you will never have to hunt for a parking spot. The pool is large, has a roped off area for kids, an adult swim area and a lifeguard.

The house features ocean views and a private hot tub. The large hot tub is located in a rear deck and is very private. The house has 8 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms and an office. There are expansive decks and a spacious 'tower room/den' as a special get-away area for the kids or adults. The house sleeps 18 with 5 kings, 1 queen, 2 twins, and a bunk bed room that will sleep 6 kids or adults. There is also a queen sleeper sofa on the 3rd floor. The house features a screened porch, wi-fi, and 7 TVs (most are smart TV's) . The house is 4 houses from the beach (a short 1 to 2 minute walk). The house is in a private cul-de-sac and you can walk directly to the beach and there is no need to cross the highway. The house is also a short 2 minute walk to the pool. The house is ideal for large family gatherings or multiple families vacationing together.

There are 5 king master bedrooms with kings and their own private baths. A king and queen room share a jack and Jill bathroom, but the bathroom door can be locked so that the 5rd king can have a private bath. One twin room also has its own private bathroom. Therefore, there can be are 7 master bedrooms with their own bathroom. The large living room area has 2 sitting areas. One of the sitting areas has 2 large sofas and 2 chairs, while the other sitting area has a table and 4 chairs. There is also another large den/get-away area with a TV on the 3rd floor.

You will be thrilled with both the community and the house. We do have an almost identical house in the same community (VRBO #162439) and feel free to contact us if the week you are interested in is not available.

Beautiful house and location. Kitchen is a cooks dream with top of the line appliances and fully stocked with Pots/pans, dishes, glasses, platters, etc. Comfortable seating in the house and on all decks. The owner and property manager are so very nice and a pleasure to work with. We are a group of twelve women, friends for over 50 years, who have vacationed together for 25 years. This house and location ranks as one of the very best. Hopefully, another stay is in our future.

This house was perfect! A minute walk to the private beach and an eight minute bike ride to the town of bethany to get ice cream and shop. The home was equipped with pretty much all you could think of and the rooms were decorated tastefully! The pictures on the web doenst do it justice! We would like to rent again next year!

Relaxing beach getaway

I rented this lovely home for my family for a week. The house was spacious enough for all of us to have our own spaces with enough common areas where we could spend quality time together. The kids loved the hot tub, pool and tennis courts. The adults loved the privacy of the beach and closeness of the nature preserve across the street. The kitchen is well stocked and we ate there for breakfast and lunch daily. The house is beautifully decorated and well-maintained. The owners were easy to work with and friendly.

Spacious Sunny Home

The owner was very responsive and helpful throughout the process. The house was very spacious, loved the kitchen! Very well stocked with everything you might need for cooking. The ice maker and extra fridge were much appreciated. This property was perfect for our large family. Convenient location and just a very short walk to the beach. Only minor suggestion to improve stay: There was supposed to be a vacuum but I think the cleaners locked it up. We only had a broom from the closet in the kitchen.

Buddies golf trip

We recently rented the house in the Preserve for a buddies golf trip. There were 10 of us and everyone had their own bed (most had their own bedroom). The house was spectacular, clean and with plenty of great space for everything that we needed. The kitchen and great room area was an awesome place for us to gather after our golf, and the hot tub was just with the doctor ordered after our rounds. The house was exactly as promised, and my communication with the owner before our rental was great. He answered all of my questions very promptly, and we were even able to check in early, which was a huge help. Given the multitude of bedrooms and the space in the house, I would highly recommend this for any large group. Also, very conveniently located between Rehoboth and downtown Bethany Beach. Five stars all the way!

Disappointing

The property was beautiful. Check in was easy.. went downhill from there. Worm infestation on first floor, cold showers in some of the bathrooms, And the most important piece is the owner said we ruined a bathroom fixture which we did not and could not prove so we had to pay him. Never had this occur in the past so I would caution future renewers to take photos…

Perfect in Every Way

My family has been going to Bethany over the summer for years, and this is by far the most amazing place we've ever stayed. Everyone had a wonderful time. This house was absolutely perfect, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Much of the house was recently renovated, and everything inside it is completely pristine and lovely. The kitchen is well-equipped, and includes a restaurant-quality range and all the utensils you'll need. The house is extremely spacious, and still felt huge even with six children and six adults. There are lots of different hangout places inside the house, and enough room for everyone to hang out together, or to split up in smaller groups. The house is decorated very tastefully, and everything about it is extremely comfortable. We enjoyed lovely dinners on the screened-in porch, and lunches sitting on bar chairs at the counter. The house is a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the pool. We took the kids to the beach every morning, came home for lunch, and then went to the pool in the afternoon. The children in our group range from 1 to 12, and the close proximity to the beach and pool made frequent trips back to the house extremely convenient. Because the house is in a cul-de-sac and so close to the beach and pool, we felt comfortable letting the older kids walk back to the house by themselves. There could not be a more perfect location, in our opinion. Vic, the owner, is extremely accommodating and welcoming. He graciously and promptly answered our many questions prior to arrival, and even mailed back some clothes that a member of our group inadvertently left behind in a drawer. Vic made us feel at home and welcome, despite not even knowing us. We enthusiastically recommend this house for the best beach vacation possible!

A Beautiful Beach Home in quiet North Bethany Beach

Our group of eight adults thoroughly enjoyed our week’s stay in this recently renovated beach house. The owner made sure that this tastefully appointed home was completely furnished for our needs. We especially enjoyed the expansive kitchen and living areas , which proved to be very comfortable for our large group . The minute walk to the beach and proximity to southern Delaware’s many sites and activities kept us entertained the entire week. Many Thanks to Vic for this wonderful house.

Great, relaxing stay

Victor's property was exactly as represented, safe, clean and close to all attractions. We like staying off the beaten path and everything we needed was only 5 or 15 min away. Rehobeth still quaint and a 15 min drive to get there. Place was spotless, the added commercial ice machine paid off in droves and the sub 300 steps to the beach was right on target. doug

Beautiful , spacious home on a cul de sac and the beach was a 2 minute walk across the street! This house really exceeded our expectations- we especially loved the kitchen/living area, so open with windows all around and a huge deck right in front. There were 6 women in our group, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms- we were there in mid September, the weather was beautiful- we all agreed we would definitely rent there again. Vic the owner promptly returned my texts when we had questions about the property. Great location in a gated community!

Already talking about next year

This was the second year we’ve stayed in this beach house and our family is already talking about next year. The gated community gives us peace of mind when our older grandchildren walk back to the house by themselves from the beach. The pool is less than a 5 minute walk as is the private life guarded beach. We enjoyed the house hot tub too. The kitchen is sufficiently stocked and the 6 burner stove is quite a treat when cooking for several families. Vic is very easy to work with and we look forward to another stay.

Great vacation home in North Bethany

Wonderful beach vacation home in private gated community with pool and tennis court. This recently remodeled home is located on cul de sac with easy access to the pool, tennis court and the nearby beach. 3 master suites, 3 family bedrooms and a loft. 5 bathrooms well placed and convenient. Kitchen has high end appliances and a large dining area for extended families. Golf, kayaking, restaurants, bike rental and downtown are all 10 minute drives. Grill and eat in, order in, or go out to eat- all are convenient. This is the vacation home you will fall in love with- the right house in the right place!!

Our family lives in Maryland in the Washington, DC area and my wife and I met at the beach. We love the beach and try to get here as often as we can. We have a son and daughter and a Golden Retriever that my wife named Dewey, after Dewey Beach, where we shared beach houses with friends when we first got out of school. When not fixing things up at the beach, I might be found on the ski slopes in the Winter or at the race track in my Corvette the rest of the year.

Why they chose this property

We used to rent houses in the Outer Banks for many years and designed our beach home incorporating our favorite aspects of these houses. We would probably still be going to the Outer Banks, if we had not discovered North Bethany. North Bethany has large homes on piles, with large lots and private beaches, very similar to the Outer Banks, but about 3 hours closer and with many more amenities. We designed the house so that it would comfortably fit multiple families/groups, with many get-away areas for both the kids and adults. We also wanted a large, inviting great room area as well as a house with multiple master suites so that all could have privacy when they wanted it.

What makes this property unique

If you like to have privacy on the beach, where your closest neighbor is 20 feet away (even in July and August), the Preserve is for you. Bethany Beach is a short 1.5-2 miles from the house and you can bike or jog there if you like. The house is a short walk to the pool, tennis court or the beach. You will never need to hunt for a parking space when you want to go to the beach. There are many, many restaurants, outlet stores, movie theaters, game parks, golf courses, etc. close to the house. Splurge and treat yourself to a wonderful house and beach community.
