Approximately an hour from Chicago. Hudson Lake only 75 miles SE of Chicago. This recently rebuilt Luxury Cottage is anything but ordinary. Comfortable style with a fully equipped kitchen. 500 sq. ft. of decks, an 50 foot pier, and a swim raft. There is also a beach house for grilling and relaxing closer to the beach, easy way to keep an eye on the kids. We supply bed linens and bath towels. You will need to provide beach towels. There are two TV's with Xfinity. Washer and dryer are provided on site. There is central A/C and heat. Large driveway provides off-street parking for at least 4 vehicles and room for your boat trailer, so just bring food & drinks & you're set! Beach, boating, and BBQ are all right here! There is a Pontoon boat and a Jetski available for rent or bring your own. Historic New Carlisle, Parks, antique shops, groceries shopping, Bowling alley & great places to eat are nearby. It is also easy to access downtown Chicago as the South Shore Train stop is approximately 1 mile from the house. We are located on an 700 acre all sports lake that is great for fishing too! Luxury bathrooms & a 2 person soaking tub in the master suite. We also have a front yard fire pit & fishing poles for you to use. Home is near Three Oaks Century bike trail and is perfectly located for biking. 6 miles to New Buffalo beaches, shops, and restaurants and Four Winds Casino resort. 5 miles to artsy Three Oaks, Michigan, and its art galleries, theater and independent movie theater. Golf at Whitaker Woods Golf Course, or Briar Leaf Golf Course. 8 courses within 15 miles. Outlet shopping in Michigan City. Nature hikes at nearby Spicer Preserve. 15 miles to Notre Dame University. 2 miles to Heston Steam Train museum. Minutes to apple picking, peach, blueberry and pumpkin farms. Feels like Wisconsin. Similar to Paw Paw Lake or Twin Sister's Lake in Michigan. One of the nearest recreational lake south of Chicago, IL. This is the perfect spot for a reunion of friends or family. Also a favorite for Notre Dame visitors, game weekends and weddings. No smoking, will consider pets.
