Lakefront home in Radford with private dock, large deck, and great views

Welcome to Porter's Pier! This is a spacious and private 3000 sq ft ranch style lakefront home on 2 acres with large back deck, private dock, and 10/10 views! Roads are state maintained straight to the driveway making travel and towing a breeze.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE HOME:
-New floating dock that can accomodate one boat or jet ski
-Boat launch 1 mile away at Harry DeHaven Park
-Firepit with Adirondack chairs steps from the water with plenty of firewood
-Indoor game room (pool, shuffleboard, TV, board and card games) perfect for kids, after the sun goes down, or times when the weather doesn’t cooperate
-Two person infrared sauna
-Due to septic system restrictions, 8 people max occupancy
-Whole home generator to keep you comfortable during a power outage (additional guidance for use will be provided if necessary)

• Virginia Tech – 30 miles
• Christiansburg – 19 miles
• Grocery store – 14 miles
• Gas station – 12 miles
There are no stairs to the lake from the house BUT the house is on a hill (see pictures) so the walk back from the firepit/dock is uphill.

There is a large metal building on the property that we actively use for woodworking. Guests will NOT be disturbed during their stay if we are working in the building. There is plenty of separation between the building and the home - think of it as another neighbor!

Speaking of neighbors, please be respectful of our community. Our neighbors are amazing. Also please abide by Pulaski County quiet hours of 10 PM to 7 AM.

Large, spacious house that’s set up really well for families! It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The dock is a bit of a walk from the house, but nothing too bad. Overall, a great place for a family getaway!

The property was absolutely gorgeous with the breath taking view of the lake. It is located in a quiet neighborhood. The home was extremely clean and well maintained. The host was very responsive to messages and gave excellent dining recommendations for the area.

This quiet retreat home and our host were lovely! Holly is quick to respond and ensured we had everything provided. We had such a relaxing and enjoyable family trip. The home was clean, spacious, and comfortable for all. The kids loved playing pool or reading on the large deck. The lake access was great for kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing, as well as smores around the fire pit at the edge of the water. It was all you hope for in a week at the lake. Thanks for hosting us!

The home is very clean with lots of living space. Seeing the pool table beyond the entryway was great and a big hit with our group. Large kitchen, with a wonderful island for gathering, eating and playing games. Plenty of counter space plus a good size table. The back deck was very big lots of room and a wonderful view of the lake which you also had from the living room. Definitely would book again all of us really enjoyed our stay. Location worked really well for our outdoor activities. Very quick response time when I reached out to our host which we really appreciated.

This was PERFECT for our daughter's graduation weekend. There was room for family to congregate without being on top of each other, even with the bad weather. The bedrooms and bathrooms were "divided" (two on each end of the house), so both sides of the family had their personal space. I had issues with the passcode lock and called. She answered and helped, even though she was obviously sick. The requirements for checking out were simple. If I ever have reason to be in the area again, I'll be a repeat customer.

A great place to spread out and relax. Expansive deck and location on the lake was great. Rented kayaks and had them delivered to the property's dedicated (and new) dock. Definitely recommend!
