Our stay was ok the place was clean but it needs a lot of updates , flloors needs replaced and stairs need repaired. The bathtub leaked downstairs to the laundry room. Had to put tub tape on it and was promised a refund of cleaning fees but never received it. Wont stay there again.

Hey Star! Happy Holidays, and hope all is well. First we’d like to say we apologize for your stay not being up to your standards. The tub leak was unacceptable, and we sincerely apologize again for that. We’d like to admit that we did ask you to replace the patch that the cleaner removed by mistake in return for a refund of your cleaning fee. We receive no response to that request, or any confirmation that it was done. You guys left and never reached out for the refund, or to say that you repatched, or we would’ve refunded immediately as promised.
Secondly, we appreciate your opinion on what we could improve in the unit. The unit is listed at a steal for the nightly fee in our opinion, and we stand by the conditions in the unit. Except for the leak of course. Super comfortable bedding, 2bed 1.5 bathrooms, sleeps 5, laundry in unit, kitchen fully stocked with dishes, nice towels, in a quiet Forest Acres neighborhood, close to downtown, shopping, and a lot of other amenities all for I believe you paid $90 per night. What an amazing deal.
In an attempt to make things right, if you ever are in Columbia again We’d like to offer you a discounted stay, and we’ll wave the cleaning fee just to make things right. Maybe we can earn a 5star from you next time.
Happy Holidays again. Happy 2026!!
The house was clean and had plenty towels, blankets, and kitchen items. The grill was small and at ground level (no legs) so it was dirty, and we weren't able to use it. The television in the living room had Roku and plenty of things to watch. No TVs in the bedrooms, but the one was fine for us. You do not get a good idea of the property from the pictures. The bedrooms are upstairs with the full bath upstairs. Downstairs, there is a hide-a-couch and a blow up queen-size mattress. There are plenty of extra linens and pillows in the closet. There is also a half bath, laundry, kitchen and dining area downstairs. The back porch is very tiny. The kitchen/dining area is very small. Everything was clean, and we had no problems at this property. The houses nearby face each other with a small, shared spot of grass. No dedicated yard space for children to play. I did see families playing together in the back alley/parking area, however.I did have some questions that I needed answered to help my trip go smoothly before arriving at the property. The first time I messaged, the host answered promptly. (I asked about a pet.) The next time, I messaged, I had a time sensitive question, and the host never responded to that message. (I asked about receiving an Amazon package there.) I was in town for my son's graduation from Fort Jackson, and had some things that I still needed delivered. The fact that the question went unanswered did cause a hiccup in plans.Check-In and Check-Out went smooth
