On the dog: the tenant's dog is a certified service animal, is not aggressive, and is not regularly present at the property. We take the claim of an attack seriously, but this account is inconsistent with anything reported to us during or after this stay. We'd also note that the tenant does not have access to the guest entrance or doorbell — so that detail gave us pause as well. On the knives: there are no knives in the game room. Knives are located in the kitchen, where they belong. We're confident in this. On the yard: the property is maintained on a regular schedule. We have no record of the conditions described, and this was not raised with us during the stay. On the AC: this is the one item we want to own fully. The AC did go out unexpectedly — something that had never happened before and has not happened since. Our technician was on-site and the issue was resolved within half a day. We're sorry this disrupted the stay and understand the frustration, even if the response time was as fast as we could make it happen. We genuinely love hosting families and take pride in doing so. We're sorry this visit didn't reflect that — but we also want future guests to have the full picture.
