My 6 day stay ended up being almost 3 weeks. The host was wonderful working with me, She provided additional supplies when needed. Even coffee! With my extended stay I used the laundry room quite a bit which was so convenient. I love to cook and this place had better cookware and supplies than any previous rentals I have had. Even had a spice drawer!Bed extremely comfortable. Great experience.

The unit was very clean and as advertised. The host was very communicative and prompt to answer questions. It suited our purpose, as we just slept there, however we weren’t crazy about the location.

Why they chose this property
I chose this neighborhood because it’s in one of the quieter parts of downtown, yet still close to everything. The area is part of the historic district, so the buildings have a lot of charm and character. Being on the edge of downtown also makes parking much easier and less stressful. I grew up just across the river in Galena, Illinois, so I know the area well and love sharing its history and charm with guests.
What makes this property unique
I put a lot of thought and care into designing this space to be both comfortable and enjoyable. I even lived here myself for several weeks to make sure every detail worked for guests — from air quality and efficient cooling to the furniture and layout. I furnished the home with comfort in mind, added cozy mood lighting instead of harsh overheads, and created a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both stylish and homey.
