This was a great place to stay. It was beautiful inside and out, and very comfortable. Easy access to both Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park downtown. Highly recommend!
We loved our stay at this cabin in Estes Park! The location was perfect—close to town and very easy to get in and out, yet it still felt peaceful and private. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the deck, taking in the beautiful mountain views, and even had elk wander right up into the yard, which was such a treat to see. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. We would definitely stay here again!
Our family had a great time with this being home base. The accommodations were good and enjoyed the quiet area at night. It was great being close to estes park and close to RMNP.
Every review about this place is accurate. Clean, huge, great views, quiet and close to everything. Everyone in our party was comfortable and had plenty of room to stretch out. Three minutes door-to-door to the Black Canyon Inn where we had our daughter’s wedding. Will definitely stay here again!
Great place for families, quiet but still close to downtown
My family and I enjoyed our stay. The house was in a great location and was well-equipped. We would definitely consider renting again next time we go to Estes Park.
The cabin was spacious and meticulously maintained. It was spacious for our family of 7. Close and walkable to downtown. Loved sitting on the upper deck with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The kids loved all the wildlife. We will definitely be back!
This house was perfect for our family of eight. Great home base for visiting RMNP. Clean, comfortable, and close to everything. Exactly what we were looking for.
We had a great weekend in Estes park. The house was perfect for our family. Great layout, nice common areas and balcony to relax after a day in the park. Lots of games and puzzles for families, we enjoyed a few of them. Overall a great location and stay. Would come back!
My friends and I enjoyed our stay at this spacious, warm and cozy cabin. There was plenty of room for us to sit together and catch up. The open floor plan provided a perfect space for us to practice yoga together too. The location worked well for us, but we did not walk into town as it was too far for everyone in our group, but it is walkable. The kitchen was well appointed and the shower pressure was AMAZING. It was our first time to Estes Park and we enjoyed our time in town, shopping, eating and strolling along the river.
Annelies' property was the perfect setup for our trip to Estes Park for a wedding. The house was perfect for 7 adults, including two couples. With downtown Estes just a few minutes away, it was perfect for exploring the local offerings, while still offering a quiet setting for taking in the property's excellent mountain views.
Property was a great size for 6 adults with large spaces for gathering both inside and out. Easy access to downtown area. Had one small issue that arose where the owners responded immediately and resolved for us that day. Highly recommend to others.
Cabin is cozy and secluded in a quiet area of the city. It is minutes from downtown shopping and restaurants. Easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park. Plenty of nearby activities for teens to enjoy. Annalies was easy to work with and readily available when we needed her. Plenty of table space for meals or games. Comfortable living area for TV watching. Multiple patio areas upstairs and down. Comfortable beds. Excellent water pressure in the shower.
This is a great property and great for families. We were there with a 4 year old, 3 year old, and 1 year old. They had a pack n play to use, family DVDs, and plastic plates/cups/silverware. It worked it great for the 2 families who stayed there. Great location. We also saw an elk and like 20 wild turkeys.
This is a lovely property. The owner was kind and informative, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the furnishings were family-friendly. We stayed over the 4th of July holiday and got to enjoy the fireworks show from the upper balcony! Grownups and kids both loved that there was a variety of books, puzzles, games and toys to provide entertainment as an alternative to the big screen tv downstairs.
Wonderful Estes Park Home very close to Rocky Mountain National Park entrance
This home offers all you need when staying in Estes Park. It has spacious bedrooms, a really nice family room with open kitchen plan and the fenced yard was very peaceful.
The proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park was a bonus.
Outside you'll find a decking with a good working BBQ, dining set and deckchairs.
We really enjoyed our stay in Estes Park and hope to be back one day!
Safety issues you should be aware of:1) used oven a couple times….strong spell of gas….had to open windows…dissipated each time within a couple minutes.2) TV bracket coming loose from wall. 3) propane hose on gas grille is linked.Otherwise great stay, beautiful house, but a bit distant from downtown

Thank you for your review and for noting the positive aspects of your stay. We do wish you had reached out during your visit so we could have addressed your concerns right away. For clarity: the oven is brand new and was professionally installed in August, the BBQ and propane line have been inspected and are in proper working order, and the TV mount has also been checked with no issues found. As for location, the property is 0.8 miles from downtown. We’re glad you enjoyed the home overall and appreciate your feedback
Thank you for the feedback and your 5 star review! I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Regarding the oven, as soon as I read your review we checked and the oven is working properly. If this would’ve been mentioned during your stay, I would’ve certainly tried and resolve it immediately.
It is a very comfortable home with plenty of space, and it is a nice mix of modern and rustic charm.

About the host
Hosted by Annelies Hall
We are an active family, so we try to get away to the mountains as much as possible. We enjoy everything the mountains have to offer from skiing in the winter to hiking in the summer. After many years of visiting several towns, we have chosen Estes Park as our “home away from home”.
Why they chose this property
Estes Park is a little over an hour from Denver. It's a quick and gorgeous drive to be in an amazing town that offers great hiking, snowshoeing and many festivals and activities, year round!
What makes this property unique
The unique benefits of the house: The house is very spacious and offers a nice combination of the historic Estes Park with the 100 year old cabin space and the nice amenities and space of the newer build. The house has been renovated to provide an open concept and modern touches. The outside space is great to enjoy the firepit and admire wildlife (we always see elk, deer, chipmunks, etc) The location is perfect as you can easily walk into town as well as to the historic Stanley Hotel. The house is only 3.3 miles from Beaver Meadow visitors center (the main visitor center/entrance for Rocky Mountain National Park) and 4 miles from the Fall River visitor center (the north entrance to the park and less crowded).
