We had great family time while exploring the various nearby towns and beaches. We appreciated the beautiful eco-friendly house, awesome jungle views, birds, butterflies, neighboring troops of howler monkeys, as well as the super friendly neighborhood dogs and horses. We experienced the variety of Costa Rica while enjoying the attention to detail of our host and the on-site services provided by Leo. The owner provided great recommendations for beaches and restaurants. While Leo made our stay very pleasant as he watched over the property and helped us navigate the unique aspects of being in the tropics. A car is very helpful when getting around as most things are a 15-20 minute car ride away. Highly recommend Dos Playas for a more immersed, off-the-beaten path Costa Rican experience.
