About this property
Down Town BUFFALO, 20 minutes from the Falls.
This House consist of a classic downtown Buffalo Double/duplex, it stretching over three floors with internal access to each apartment. This is why you will have two kitchens, three living rooms, seven bedrooms and 2.5 baths.
The basement is primarily our use, and it's a separate side entrance. There is a studio in the basement that I on occasion use. The only shared space would be if you want access to the washer and dryer, as that is in the basement.
This House is Centrally located downtown Buffalo. One mile from the downtown Center, walking distance to Allentown, and just two miles from Canalside. Allentown and the Delaware District are two neighborhoods in Buffalo that are located adjacent to each other and north of downtown. These two areas are among the most desirable communities in the city today, and, much more than most other areas of Buffalo, were able to retain their charm, affluence, and safety throughout Buffalo's dark days from the 1960s to the turn of the millennium. Today, Allentown boasts a thriving cultural and artistic scene and a large selection of bars, restaurants, and funky shops, while the Delaware District is a quiet upscale residential area of stately homes, many of which are of great architectural distinction. Canalside has hundreds of events scheduled throughout the year; there’s something for everyone. Canalside has a ton of free activities; Canalside is the place to be whether you’re looking to unwind, have some fun in the sun or ice skate on the canals. Check out free concerts every Thursday in the summer.
We have always taken cleanliness very seriously, as you can see in our reviews, and in these times, we take extra precautions. We follow the CDC's recommendations for cleaning and disinfecting after each stay.

This house is well located for areas of buffalo with restaurants and shopping. The area was quiet and there was plenty of space for our family to hang out and visit after going to local tourist attractions. Everyone had plenty of space.
This place is So spacious for a family reunion of all ages! So well stocked and the owner was so nice & helpful! We absolutely loved the porches! I would highly recommend this place!
We came for a weekend in Buffalo, 9 adults. Used both halves and it worked perfectly. Spacious common areas and useful kitchen on the 2nd floor. Short ride share to great restaurants nearby and not much longer to downtown. Would definitely stay again.
What a wonderful house! Ample room, comfy beds, cute decor, excellent location! The host is incredibly accommodating. We will totally stay there again!
We absolutely loved our stay in Buffalo. The house was perfect for our large group. Plenty of room to relax and hang out. We loved the location within walking distance to fun restaurants and cafes. Communication with the host was excellent. We accidentally tripped a circuit breaker and the host had it fixed in minutes. Would highly recommend if visiting Buffalo with a large group.
We rented the house for my daughter’s graduation and the whole family was able to stay together. There way plenty of room to gather and celebrate. It was very nice and our hostess was very accommodating.
We came from Erie to see the Elovators Concert at Electric City. We loved this unique old home. It was so cozy, beautiful, and spacious. It took 7 min to get to our concert using Uber. With a total of 8 people. We had plenty of space for everyone to hang out, eat together, and relax, while still having plenty of room for anyone wanting some privacy. We LOVED it!
We had another excellent stay at the house. Our family gathered together back in Jan 2020 and loved the house. It accommodated all 4 families very well. For this trip, we got together to celebrate an early Thanksgiving. The two kitchens, huge dinning table, and overall roominess of the house made our visit special and enjoyable. Brita takes excellent care of her visitors and it is thoroughly appreciated. The house is within walking distance of quite a few places, even the grocery store.
We had two grandparents, two children with spouses and five grandchildren ages 6-17. The house fit us perfectly with the three floors of bedrooms and common spaces. Our activities included Niagara Falls, Holiday Valley and a Buffalo Bills football game. The house is in a perfect location for all of these activities. We also enjoyed ice skating at Canal Side. Brita and Vilma were very responsive. All in all, a great property!!
We rented the entire house. The house is beautiful!! Very nicely decorated.
It had plenty of room for all of our family and friends to stay. 3 balconies with tables, chairs, grills, 3 full baths and 7 bedrooms!!
It was clean and had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. Brita and Velma were responsive and very friendly.
My daughter's graduation was three block away so we could walk and not worry about trying to find a place to park.
Thank you ladies, for making our celebration so unforgettable!
This was a great space for 3 families. We each had our own floor for our own space and could gather all together as well for meals, games, hanging out and kids' play time.
The owner was very responsive to questions and even had some fun toys for the kids.
It was a very convenient location - everything is within 10-15 minutes away: zoo, science museum, children's museum, riverside waterfront area for ferris wheel and rides, playgrounds, swimming pool and splash pad, state park beach, bike path, boat launch for kayaking.
Street parking is plentiful and easy.
If you are sensitive to noise, there is quite a lot of traffic in front even though it is a residential street. Most of the time, it didn't bother us though. We stayed 8 nights and there were a couple nights where it was noisy in the middle of the night.
We really liked the house and the neighborhood. It is centrally located to a lot of attractions and yet in a relatively quiet area, especially at night. We appreciated having two kitchens and I would like people to know that the 2nd floor kitchen is definitely the better of the two. We spent most of our time on the second floor because of that although, we did utitize both floors. It was great to have a second refrigerator and if some people wanted to have a different activity they could use the 1st floor. Also, the front porch and the front patio were well used by all. It would be nice to have a railing in the stairway between floors particularly for the older guests and some of the mattresses were too soft and uncomfortable. Other than that we were all quite happy with the property and would rent it again.
Clean and spacious, ideal for groups or large families. Host was responsive prior to our stay. I recommend bringing household cleaner as there was nothing available for the day to day cleanups of your own messes. One noteworthy concern for my party was the fact that the co-host entered the property nearly 2 hours prior to checkout without permission or notice, I happened to stumble upon her in the basement while taking out the trash. The host did not seem concerned with this behavior which leads me to believe it is common practice. There is a full bath in the basement which is part of the rental, I found this intrusion wildly inappropriate as the property was till occupied and I had not contacted the company-host to notify we had checked out as per the hosts request.

This is wildly inaccurate. When you do rent this house, it consists of two apartments that can be combined into one living space for big groups.
Separate from this is a basement where I keep my personal items; I have a studio and a bathroom. We also keep all supplies like sheets, soap, etc. The bathroom she is referring to is not part of the rental; I do offer it to bigger groups on request from time to time. However, she did not ask my permission for use, which I don't think is a big deal as I was not there at the time. It's also an area in the basement with a washer and dryer, which is the only thing that should be used by anyone who rents the house. We don't lock the basement, just in case someone needs to do laundry, is in the instructions. To get down to the basement from the two apartments, one must unlock closed doors from the living area and then take the back stairs to get down to the basement. When WE access the basement, it's thru a separate entrance on the side of the house.
As you can imagine, it's a lot to clean this big house, with minimum time between stays. My cleaning lady often does laundry in the basement after people check in at 4 pm. And she will also come and access the basement before people check out to get sheets, towels, and other stuff ready, which is what happened. In some sense, you may say this guest intruded on our space, which, again, we did not see as a big deal at the time, but I see from this review that I should have been more transparent when this happened. We did not by any means enter their living area, the area where they rented: separate entrance and space.
As for the cleaning supplies, we provide plenty of clearing supplies, so there is no need to bring them from home. We do put that in both kitchens. The basement is our primary storage for all supplies needed for running an efficient “hotel” business, so I am surprised she did not find a surplus as she clearly was entering the basement.
I had a group of 15 come here for a Bills game, we all stayed in the house & everyone had plenty of personal space. The house was clean, the owner was very responsive and great with communication. Would definitely stay here again!
This was a perfect house for my big family going to Buffalo for a wedding. It slept 15 easily and also had enough spaces for others who were in town for the wedding a place to stop by and visit.
Rented this place for my wedding at templeton landing, had plenty of space for all my groomsmen to sleep. Enjoyed the rest of the time there with my wife. Awesome location close to downtown. Perfect place to stay if you have a large number of people.
Property is great! The location is fantastic, it seemed like everywhere we needed to go was always just a ten minute drive away.
