It was honestly the best or even close but if you need a roof, you got it. Cold showers, roaches out the outlets, weird floor mats that are impossible to keep in place. Not sure I would recommend to a friend or enemy.

W love this property. It was our 2nd visit here and are confused by the bad review it recieved. There were none of the mentioned issues, everything was clean and in working order. Sure, a few things could be tweeked but it still rates a 10 In safety, convince, and abillity to reach host. We have the home booked in April and I will take pictures then. Great house, host, location.

Shower was a disaster and had a cardboard paper in the window. The shower knobs all hit each other and were very annoying to adjust. There was hair on the floor and bedroom and the couch was dirty. House was not well cared for . Do not recommend.

This property made us feel like we were home the minute we opened the door. Very clean, spacious and warm feeling.The host, Izzy was great in communication and very helpful to our needs.Our 2 pups were with us. They lived thd fenced in yard and soft grass for running. We felt very safe in the home and neighborhood.We could not ask for any better. This is now our spot when we go to Chalmette. We already have 4 more trips planned.Love this place.

I have several issues with this particular house, i had constant issues getting in and out of the front door using the keypad, i did reach out to the owner for assistance. Out of all my issues i didnt feel safe at all because the front door is not the right size for the frame so you can see straight outside with the door closed and that made me feel very comfortable. The side door looked as if someone has recently tried to break in the home because of the area by the door frame. I was unaware the house is run on AC window units. There was pieces of furniture that was broken or need to be repaired. The sofa still had pet hair all on it from the previous guest. The fridge drawers were broken and need to be fixed. The house had a bad musty/moldy smell. The bathroom shower has a window which is not covered by anything except for some old frosty glass paper and it was uncomfortable to take a shower because not knowing if people outside the window can see me. Was unable to enjoy the backyard because the grass is not treated so the amount of knats and flies was out of control. Unable to connect the bedroom tv to the wifi because there was no instructions or information so the only thing you could watch is local tv with the antenna that was hooked up to the tv. There is a for lease sign in the front yard. Unfortunately i wouldnt recommend staying at this location even though the owner was nice when i did call about getting in the property.

The place was very clean and spacious. The kitchen is stocked with every utensil you will need to cook. The space was bigger than I anticipated. The pictures are exactly what you get. Izzy was a great host. I would definitely recommend. Close to the French Quarter but away from the live night life
