This extremely well built home features just the right mix of modern renovations, wood work, and overall southern style to include 3 bedrooms, 3 modernized bathrooms, a well equipped custom kitchen with 2 dining areas, custom lighting, a laundry room, high ceilings with catwalks, floor to ceiling windows, and so much more. The house is fully furnished to make your stay pleasurable in every way. The house sleeps 8-10 people if you utilize the the queen sized pull out sofa in the living room. The private 440 foot pier in your back yard includes a covered gazebo. It's great for fishing, crabbing, kayaking or just enjoying the quiet, peaceful outdoor retreat! It is a short .8 of a mile to the closest beach access on Litchfield Beach where you can enjoy the ocean. You can also use an outdoor pool 4 miles from the property from May through August. The house has free high speed WIFI internet access, central air conditioning, a flat screen cable TV, microwave, modern kitchen stocked with all cookware and utensils, washing machine and dryer, large deck including an oyster table and charcoal grill with plenty of deck furniture overlooking the creek. It is located 4 miles from beautiful Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach State Park. It is within 5 miles of 5 highly rated golf courses. You can walk around the corner to fantastic restaurants and it is within a mile of quaint shops at The Hammock Shops and Island Shops in downtown Pawleys Island. Cute house on the water

My children enjoyed the house and dock. The beds were comfortable and provided everything we needed. It was a short drive to the public beach, which had great parking and was not crowded.

This property is perfect for a family get away. Our family enjoyed fishing/crabbing off the dock. The location was perfect, being so close to the beach. The house was very clean. Mary and her family were great host, making sure we knew were everything was and that we had everything we needed. The only thing that could have been better was the weather! But that was ok, we were totally content catching up and laughing with each other, we never left the house!

We totally enjoyed this clean, modern, interesting seaside cabin. It is very unique and had all the amenities of home. The sunrise and sunsets were spectacular sitting in the gazebo in the middle of the marsh or relaxing in the cozy chair by the window. Great price and everything is new inside. It is close to restaurants and the ocean but tucked away off highway 17. A real gem.

Quiet, clean, and beautiful

The house is in an area that is remote and quiet but still very close to everything. We met Mary, one of the owners, she was very polite and accommodating. The house was one of the cleanest places we have stayed in. There was not a spec of dust or a streak in a mirror. Even outside was cleaned up, and we stayed right after a hurricane. 2 master bedrooms was perfect for 2 couples. There is also another room with sets of bunk beds. The pier and gazebo were great for fishing and relaxing. We will Definitely stay here again.

April Visit to Pawleys Island Community

This is a very unique home as depicted in the photos. Solid hardwood everywhere! Views of the marsh area are excellent. The home was very clean. The owners live minutes away and were very responsive to a couple of requests. The kitchen area is small and there isn’t a dishwasher so plan accordingly. The deck and picnic table are just out the back door and great for outdoor dining. One note is there is not any cover over the back deck to shield you from rain or full sun. We made due with a couple of umbrellas. The gazebo on the marsh is roofed and puts you in the middle of all the action. Great bird watching with morning coffee and evening cocktails. Unfortunately two new homes were being built across the street from the house. We just had some bad timing related to daytime construction noise outside as the homes were being put up and framed. Probably done now. The house is rock solid and nearly sound proof so no issue inside. The location is very convenient to many great restaurants, local shopping and numerous golf courses. All just a short drive away. It’s a quiet little neighborhood tucked behind businesses on 17.

Wedding Weekend in Pawleys Island

The house is like a "tree house" literally there is a tree in the middle of it - not alive anymore - but, still a tree. The view is awesome and the dock is the longest in the area that we could see. The layout of the house gives views of the marsh in almost every room. Great for large gatherings in the common area. Only downside is the kitchen is very small and no dishwasher. Take paper products and you are good to go.

After many years of searching for waterfront property in this area, the Tester's found the perfect retreat in the summer of 2017! It is such a unique home with the inside hardwood cabin feel including cat walks with breath taking views not to mention the awesome dock and gazebo on the creek. It is in a peaceful quiet neighborhood yet located conveniently close to many amenities.
