It was a stellar experience. Very up-to-date appliances while still keeping the cozy feeling. Perfect for couples and even their pets.

House itself was great. The remodel was well done. The neighborhood, not so much. Other houses were very close, with kids yelling and dogs barking. Tow house issues - the fireplace never worked correctly and needs service (NOT just from housekeeping), and grab bars need to be put in both showers. The "portable" one on the floor is comical.

Thank you for your comments here regarding your stay at A Round the Glen. We appreciate your candidness regarding your stay and would like to address your issues. We did send housekeeping to help you with the fireplace as it is their job to ensure the pilots are lit and the units work prior to your arrival which they were before you arrived. Unfortunately, you did not let us know that you had additional problems with the fireplace but instead voiced them here on Vrbo. Had we known, we would have addressed it as quickly as we did your first call. Unfortunately, we are unable to control the actions of neighbors, dogs and children, common to many neighborhood homes listed on Vrbo. Also, as the grab bar was not listed as an amenity, we hate that you saw to ding the home for this issue because you didn't feel the one provided was up to your standard. Once again, we appreciate your comments and hate that you chose to give a three star review for things that could have been mitigated had you provided us with the information.
