Conveniently located in middle of town. It is located behind a bar. We had no issues, as we used the place for only one night and restaurant/bar didn’t stay open too late. We were a little disappointed that we couldn’t check in sooner and we were left storing luggage in an unlocked, unattended area. Room was basic but served our needs.
Easy check in, easy check out. Walk through Bananas restaurant to get to the room. It was adequate and budget friendly. Near several restaurants, the world's smallest aquarium and museum. It's walking distance from beaches. Bring ear plugs if you like quiet. One night, around 3am, loud restaurant music came on for about 20 min my ear plugs were greatly appreciated. Overall, it's budget friendly and the view was a treat. Sunrise and sunsets were my favorite things.
The location and price were great, check-in was easy but everything else was mediocre. The room was dark (not as it appears in the photo), had barely any water pressure and hot water, could use a deep clean. As stated in the listing, there was quite a bit of noise. Not the worst. Fine for what we paid.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Check in was pretty easy though it is done by going through a restaurant. However, when we arrived the Door was open which we did not appreciate. Also the bed was blocking the bathroom so we had to move it. Since it has been left open there were lots of mosquitoes in the room. I we would overall compare this to a motel. Not the cleanest bathroom and some renovations needed. I would say to look at Google reviews. The reason I'm giving 3 vs 2 stars is because the host was very responsive and helpful prior to arrival
We stayed two nights in late November. The room was clean, check in was easy, there were toiletries, ac and fan worked well, bed was comfortable, but only 2 pillows (4 shown in photos.) This was the first room in the hallway from the restaurant. The gate to the rooms was almost never locked (this is guests fault, but worth knowing.) If you are a light or medium sleeper don’t stay here. Bar La Nasa across the street plays really loud music until after 2am (one of the nights it was after 3.) The ice machine in the hallway dumping ice and some kind of loud squeak from outside didn’t help. Housekeeping knocked on our door twice before 8:30am on our checkout day and no do not disturb signs are available. Housekeeping did not come on the other day of our stay. The location is great (besides the bar), we didn’t eat at the restaurant so can’t speak to that.

Hi Magdalene! Thank you for staying with us. We set expectations of the potential noise level in our listing as well as two different messages that go out before check-in. It is out of our control in such a busy tourist destination. We are also not a hotel and housekeeping does not clean the room during a guest stay. We appreciate you choosing us during your time in Vieques!
We came for our 30th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time in Vieques. The room is situated behind the Bananas Bar and Grill that faces the ocean front right across the street. It is nicely stationed to walk to bars and restaurants and adventure tours that line the street. The room itself was not quite what we thought based on the photos. The area is about 400 square feet. The door to the hallway opens right next to the bed and the bathroom sits just in front of the foot of the bed. My husband felt like the bed was uncomfortable—woke up with a back ache each morning. I’m much shorter than he is and it was ok for me. There is a big arched door that goes to a screened patio. If you want it closed to stay cool, it is dark as there are no windows. It would have been nice to have a little more surface area to put luggage, toiletries, chargers, etc….but we made do. Parking is tight. We parked in the public parking a minute walk from the place that they told us to. Honestly that was preferred to squeezing in on the narrow streets and tight spaces. With all that said—the people are awesome, the location is unparalleled, the vibe is beach party and small town mixed together. It was convenient. It was priced well. We regret not going upstairs to the sunset bar and grill. Maybe next time. Thanks for the stay!
