About this property

The Windjammer Condominiums located ocean front on 46th street offer that wonderful retro Ocean City feel while providing the perfect setting for a memorable visit to Ocean City, Maryland. This three bedroom, two bath unit can sleep a family of six with a queen in the 1st bedroom, a full in the 2nd bedroom and two twins in the 3rd bedroom. A one-of-a-kind family vacation destination, each unit is individually owned and decorated offering the guest a unique feel and comfortable stay with direct beach access and ocean views. Enjoy the exclusive private sand patio for grilling, picnics and play, free WIFI, flat screen TVs, and onsite check-in and check-out in season. Our condos are stocked and ready for you with towels, linens, cookware and utensils. Don't pass up on the chance to stay at your home away from home at the beach! This unit permits up to two dogs, 50 lb limit for one pet or 70 lb combined limit for two pets. There is an additional $35.00 per day pet fee. Although pets are allowed all season, absolutely no pets on the private sand patio courtyard. Note there is a designated pet area supplied with waste bags just a minute's walk away. An on-site laundry room is available for guests at no additional cost from 9am to 5pm.

Not what I thought

The pictures definitely make it look more spacious and bright than it actually is. Listing it as an ocean view is technically correct as a small sliver of the water can be seen over the dune. From the listing, we thought there was a private outside sitting area but there is not. That along with no significant ocean view were huge drawbacks for us. The inside definitely needs an upgrade. The air conditioners really need cleaning. The building itself is well maintained and cleaned. The outside patio area would be a benefit for those traveling with small children. It was too close to too many people for us.

Cleanliness/Outdated but Overall Good

Overall our experience was good. The condo was not as clean as expected by looking at the photos. The carpet and bathrooms could have used a better cleaning. The second bathroom in one of the bedrooms didn’t have enough space to open the bathroom door all the way. With that being said, the location was perfect, staff were great, and there were many items supplied to us as in kitchenware, linens, toiletries to get started and paper towels. Thank you.

Small but has everything

Tucked behind the dunes, this traditional condo held 6 adults with no problem. Property management was friendly and attentive.

Bad communication

The two units next to us were under renovation. We were in the middle of a construction site. Work began at 8am sharp. Not to mention the cigarette smoking and phone conversations of the gentleman working there. It was not good, and we will not go back. Only because it was not good customer service, the location was great.
