The host was very responsive and the house was clean, but there were a few issues that affected our stay. Check in was delayed by about 2.5 hours because the home was not ready, and we had ongoing problems with the door lock that made it difficult to access the property.Families with kids may also want to know that the backyard is not fully enclosed and sits next to busy streets. We also found rough wood and splinters on the bunk beds. One person in our group got a splinter after accidentally kicking the upper bunk from the lower bunk.Overall, we appreciated the host’s communication, but there are some maintenance and safety issues that could be improved.
