Host was great to communicate and very thoughtful in have everything we would need for our stay. The quick drive to town for restaurants or coffee shops was nice while still filling removed from the hustle and bustle of a city.
Overall it is a beautiful place. The spiral case is a bit difficult with little kids or bags but if no littles to worry about, they are manageable. The decks are great and the fire pit was nice for roasting marshmallows. At one point, a neighbor was hollering profanities and running a chainsaw after dark (We’re laughing now, but it was pretty wild). The drive into town is pretty and the lake is super close. You can tell a lot of thought went into the comfortability of the home and stay. Would recommend for adults or families with older children.
We couldn’t even stay here because the mold smell was so bad. Our throats were burning after ten minutes of being inside. The one split unit and lack of air flow made it not safe. Make sure you check out the area as it’s very unsightly and unkempt and probably unsafe. I contacted the owner to let her know we couldn’t stay as we literally walked in and back out. She offered half back and that’s it. We left with nowhere to go and had to find another place and repay. If I could give it zero stars I would.
