New Year, New Look! Our home is centrally located with quick access to downtown, Biltmore Estate, Blue Ridge Parkway, restaurants, breweries, music venues, shopping and more. We are in a quiet and friendly neighborhood and the spacious studio apartment has it's own entrance, off-street parking, and all the amenities you need for your stay. We welcome your pups with an additional $50 pet fee and the fenced in yard offers a great space for your pups to play.

Cozy stay within walking distance to downtown AVL

Cozy spot with all the essentials for a quality stay. Easy Uber/Lyft into town and a nice downhill walk back. Very quiet neighborhood with a park across the street.

Cozy little apartment

Cozy little apt. The walkway leading to it needs a little more lighting and maybe some directions posted. The driveway was confusing. Very tiny. Bathroom is really small. Shower was even smaller so dont expect any 2 person showers. Very clean though! She does leave complimentary coffee & hot choc for guests but no other

Great little spot in Asheville

My best friend and I came to Asheville for a quick trip and spent our night in this adorable VRBO. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into making the space inviting and nice to be in. The owner was very responsive when I had questions and I would definitely stay here again. Just a note that, as with a lot of places in the mountains, there are a lot of stairs to get down to the property and a stair step up into the bathroom so that's something to be aware of if stairs are a challenge for you.

Great place- exactly what we needed!

Great place, perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 dogs). We stayed 4 nights. Neighborhood is nice- we actually walked into town and it wasn’t awful, took us less than 30 mins. Park across the street was a bonus, though busier than we would have expected especially during the week. Had everything we needed. Would stay here again. Thank you!

Lovely place to stay — cozy and comfortable

The place was comfortable and cozy, brightly decorated, a beautifully done and imaginative conversion of the space. All the necessities of daily living were there. The location was not right downtown but close enough. The porch rockers were relaxing. Impressive: One evening animals knocked over the full garbage pail of the people upstairs, blocking the path in. It was cleaned up by 8 am the next day. One negative: the twisting path down from the parking level, mostly dirt, mostly without a rail, was difficult if not dangerous, especially carrying suitcases. It was an invitation to twist an ankle.

Good location can't overcome the musty basement

The two positives--close to downtown and comfortable bed--can't overcome the musty basement studio. The support beam is covered in mildew spots, the kitchen and bathroom cabinets have clearly suffered water exposure, the laminate flooring is buckling in spots. Candles couldn't hide the smell and we had to wash everything after we left.

Nicely decorated but...

The good news is that it is very close to downtown, and is nicely decorated with enough kitchen supplies to get you through. The bad news is the driveway is very tight, the path to the room is very dark, with the bottom of the path being straw or mulch over mud. The worst part was the musty, mildew smell that was terrible. It may have been partly due to the heavy rain, but the smell was so strong it permeated the towels. The a/c unit is right by the bed , and very noisy.

Absolute perfection!

My husband, myself, and our three small pups stayed 10.22 to 10.25.23 for a quick getaway. The studio was so large and bright. Even with our luggage and all of the dog supplies, we had plenty of room to stretch out! The studio was incredibly clean and welcoming. We had all of the supplies we needed, and our host even provided additional toiletries for travelers who forgot an item. This studio was more well equipped than some deluxe cabins we've rented elsewhere in the Smokies. The location can't be beat, we were minutes from all of the downtown action. It's so close, that Lyft both ways is cheaper than many of the parking lots in town. As far as the pet friendly amenities go, having a fenced yard for our pups to run around in was fantastic! It allowed us to relax more without having to schedule enough walks for them. It helped their travel anxiety as they are used to having the option of a fenced yard. Additionally, there is a nice little park across the street for longer walks. We would definitely rent this studio again the next time we are in Asheville!

Renter Beware Rental Not Safe ,Clean and Not As Pictured!

I would not even rate this a 1 Star ! VRBO needs to investigate this rental as it is misleading with the pictures posted. We chose this rental as we have dogs and the price was low. If you book for a low cost, remember the old saying, you get what you pay for! When we arrived, it had been raining, and the entrance was behind the home down an incline to the musty basement turned into a makeshift bedroom, kitchen, and bath. There are four wood steps down covered in green mold and no railing look at the pictures closely. Then you follow a path of mulch and mud to the entrance (hardly any mulch, just mud) . The slick mud was so bad it flowed over the wood deck to the unit's entrance. I slipped in the mud and fell on the muddy path; no railing to grab on to. The unit's entrance door glass was filthy. Once inside, we always roll up rugs if possible as this is a dog-friendly rental, and we did not want our dogs to be tempted to urine on carpets as they immediately started smelling the carpets. That tells me they smell dog urine. When we rolled up the rug in front of the sofa, it was disgusting underneath filth and stained and reeked dog urine. Now we start looking over the rental for cleanliness and find the floors were not mopped; we used a wet paper towel and wiped the floor; it was black? The microwave was dirty and rusted inside. The way it is shown online is not how it looks. The bathroom is so tiny, and it is a 10-inch step up to go in; the flooring has been replaced, and 2-3 inch gaps all around the edge of the room. It is not installed correctly, and you can see the cement floor under it. The shower curtain was full of mold. I immediately called the owner and told her we could not stay in the unit as it was not sanitary or safe. She hung up on me. I called her back, and it went to full voicemail, so I texted her pictures and told her we were leaving, and she completely ignored me. Before I left, I called VRBO filed a complaint, and told them we were going and not staying in the rental. I emailed them pictures of the documented issues; once they saw the photos, they agreed the rental was in unacceptable condition. Please read through the reviews as there are many negative. When I rent via VRBO, I am looking for simple basic requests: Cleanliness and accurate property representation. I also felt uncomfortable with the rental security as the instructions for check-in was the door is unlocked and the key is on the table???

The bed was very comfortable. The host was very responsive to a lighting concern we had. It was very close to downtown AVL. The driveway was a little problematic when we arrived - it was raining and getting dark. The kitchenette was adequate, since we ate all of our meals out or carried in. There was plenty of room for the two of us. I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the late afternoon to read. There is still some work going on there. All in all, the space was comfortable and adequate for our short stay.

Orange Peel concert getaway

Perfect for dog owners!

The place was a bit musty upon arrival, but after the air conditioning kicked in and the outside temp dropped it got much better. It’s perfect for dog and parents because it has a nice yard right off the patio that allows them to run around and do their “business”. We stayed here last year and the owners have made several nice upgrades and it is perfect for a couples get away with your dogs!

Cozy, comfy and cleaning fee actually means something!

Had a quick trip for a wedding and this ended up being so perfect. Location was great, set up was just what we needed for having dogs. The bed is spacious and super comfortable. Oh and don’t panic if you don’t get check out instructions, because there’s nothing to do! Her exact words were “ Nope, you don’t have to do anything, I’ll take care of it all. You pay a cleaning fee so that you don’t have to clean. 😁” Much appreciated and we’ll be back!
