Why they chose this property
Why Stay at The Silverwood?
Choosing a home for 17 people is tricky. You need space, activities, and the right layout. Here is why The Silverwood is the right choice for your group:
1. Professional Care (Hot Tub & Grounds) We know that cleanliness matters.
The Hot Tub: Forget the "ick factor." Our hot tub is professionally maintained to ensure sanitary, chemically balanced water. It is hot, bubbling, and safe the moment you arrive.
The Grounds: We invest in bi-weekly professional landscaping year-round. The path to the lake is always kept crisp, clean, and free of debris, making the walk down the hill safe and inviting.
2. Two Ways to "Firepit" We know groups have different needs.
For the Relaxers: We have a Gas Firepit on the upper deck. It requires no stairs to access, turns on with a button, and offers beautiful elevated views.
For the Campers: Down by the water (accessed via stairs), we have a traditional Wood Firepit. This is the spot for the loud late-night crew to roast marshmallows without waking up the grandparents sleeping inside.
3. The Lakeside Kitchen Because of our hilly terrain, the waterfront feels like its own private park. Once you go down the stairs, you don't have to keep running back up. We have an Outdoor Kitchen right at the water's edge, meaning you can grill hot dogs and grab cold drinks right next to the Private Dock.
4. Sleeps 17 Under One Roof It is rare to find a home that comfortably holds this many people. Our mix of private adult rooms and "Bunk Zones" allows three or four families to stay together affordably.
5. Quiet, Residential Location Silverwood Terrace is a peaceful peninsula. Unlike the main highway rentals, you won't hear semi-trucks braking all night. You are close to the practical stuff (Harps Grocery is ~6 mins away) and the fun stuff (Oaklawn is ~15-18 mins away), but you sleep in silence.

What makes this property unique
Unique Benefits: What Sets Us Apart?
1. The "Resort" Standard We run this home with professional standards.
Hot Tub: professionally serviced for guaranteed hygiene.
Landscaping: professionally groomed every two weeks.
Housekeeping: hotel-grade cleaning protocols. You get the privacy of a home with the reliability of a resort.
2. Multi-Level Entertainment The layout naturally separates the "noise" from the "nap." Kids can be down at the dock making a splash, while adults lounge in the Hot Tub or by the Gas Firepit on the upper deck (no stairs needed!).
3. The Outdoor Kitchen Most lake houses just have a grill on the porch. We have a dedicated prep and cooking area down by the water. It turns a swim day into a full-day event.
4. Year-Round Amenities The lake may get chilly in the winter, but our Hot Tub is open year-round, and the Gas Firepit makes the upper deck cozy even in December.
5. Pet Friendly With a big family reunion, leaving the dogs behind is a hassle. We welcome your pets to join the fun at The Silverwood!
