Enjoyed our stay in Natchez. Cottage was a couple of blocks from Bluff Park which is nice to walk and seems to be the hub of activity. Cottage is also located near downtown shops and restaurants. The only issue is the loud street noise.
Our weekend stay at Isabella House was perfect! It was step back in time with modern amenities. The house is located within easy walking distance of downtown. Our host, Jackie was so hospitable and fantastic with communication. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We liked it all. The little 1885 house was precious, furnished with appropriate period antiques. The back yard area was wonderful. It was such a pleasure to sit out on the large back porch and drink coffee in the morning. The house is the perfect location being within walking distance from several historic sites in Natchez, including being right across the street from historic 1820 Rosalie. Everything we needed for a pleasant stay was provided.
We enjoyed a lovely long weekend in Natchez. The Isabella Cottage was the perfect location. We enjoyed walking around town and had everything we needed. Some other guests mentioned in past reviews that the road noise bothered them, but we had no trouble sleeping!
While the house is sweet and the house itself very clean, the porch had patio furniture very mildewed. The house is right off Canal street, it is not quiet and peaceful, there is a lot of traffic noise from the road. While the house is advertised as a two bedroom, that’s a stretch. One of the beds is a fold down in the living room. It’s really only a one bedroom. Also be aware while it does have 2 Roku TV’s, owners don’t allow you to sign into your own Netflix, Prime, channels. We have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is the first time this has happened.
Great cottage. Clean, wonderful location, responsive host. We enjoyed our time in Natchez very much, home is close to downtown and restaurants. Would definitely recommend!
Very realistic recreation of a period home. They have everything you can think of needing for a stay. Nice back porch and yard area to enjoy a glass of wine - which they were also kind enough to supply. We would definitely stay again.
Great location to walk to restaurants and some sights in town. Back porch with fans is great to place to relax and read a book. Anything we needed was provided in the house.
We visited Natchez to surprise a friend my husband served in Vietnam with. The Isabella’s location was perfect to tour the lovely downtown and riverfront. It was so well stocked with all the essentials we needed.

This cottage was charming and the owners well stocked the home for all needs! Loved the backyard! It was perfect for our two small dogs! Great communication with owner. Great complimentary Wine. Great location to walk around the town. We had a lovely stay! ❤️
Everything was exactly as advertized. I can not say too much about how great our host was! They were extremely responsive and even came over to help us with the TV on the same day as they were heading out of town! We enjoyed how close the house is to everything and how cosy the house itself is. You really can't go wrong with this house!
The house is charming. It's the perfect little cottage to come home to after a day of walking the history rich streets of Natchez. The river and bluffs are a short walk away. The lightning bugs on the walk back up from dinner on the river was a great way to end the evenings. Thanks Jackie!
Terrific stay at Isabella Cottage in the beautiful city on the bluff. My cousin and I were visiting Natchez for the Restoring Hope weekend, hosted by Our Restoration Nation. Isabella House has a great location. Super cute decor, comfy bed, nice bathroom and kitchen. Great back yard and covered porch, although when we were there it was too darn hot to enjoy it. Yes there was traffic noise, but we knew that ahead of time and weren't really bothered by it at all. Nice place all around and would recommend it to others.
Everything was great. I love the old vintage plumbing fixtures. The place was very conveniently located very clean. The porches and courtyard were fabulous. My only con was the traffic noise all night. Had I seen the earplugs that were provided this wouldn’t have been an issue.
We had a really good birthday trip with just my husband and I. My husband may have been a little leary of the antique decor specifically in the bedroom. And him waking up at 3 am every night, but i slept like a baby.

We went spend our anniversary weekend in Natchez, the Isabella House was just perfect. I felt like I was talking to my friend when speaking with the owner, she was wonderful. The cottage was more than perfect, there is nothing that Ms Jackie did not think of having for her guests. She even had prizes for us :) The cottage was simply inviting, it is so cute and clean!! We will definitly come back her and would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone. The Isabella House was wonderful!
We really enjoyed our stay here, wish we would have stayed longer. Natchez is a really neat city. The house is very cute & very clean. The outdoor space (and the big fan) were very relaxing. The free bottle of wine was good for relaxing also. ;-) It's a busy street but the noise machine was great & it does quiet down later at night so we slept great. It was fun to just walk around town and look at the neat houses. We had a great lunch at Pig Out Inn. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we get back to Natchez sometime!
We loved staying here! Love the decor as there is something beautiful and different in every room. The house is well stocked with anything you possibly need, clean and comfortable.
The location of the house is an incredible bonus. We were able to take a long walk along the bluff every morning. We also walked to several ante-bellum homes and restaurants ( don’t miss The Little Easy). Loved being able to walk down to the Under-the-Hill Saloon.
The back porch is really a nice place to start the day. Communication with the host was quick and pleasant. Staying here made our trip to Natchez a wonderful experience
