Luxury apartment above a former law office.
Located in the heart of Historic Downtown Natchez.
Off street parking, huge landscaped courtyard.
Front and rear balconies
Building is an 1870’s commercial building.
Fully equipped kitchen.
Formal dining room
Living room with balcony over Franklin Street.
Beautifully furnished, with premium towels and bedding.
2 full en-suite bathrooms with tubs with showers.

About 2,000 sqft.

Check in, if before 5 p.m. (Mon-Sat), is next door at my Antique Shop - Lower Lodge Antiques 712 Franklin Street.
Our guests have access to a private “members only” pool in downtown Natchez. Pool open Labor Day to Memorial Day. Pool about 7 blocks from apartment - short drive or an easy walk.

After 5 p.m. and on Sundays we normally use a lock box for check ins. While we do not charge a separate cleaning fee with booking, for long-term stays maid service can be arranged on request (additional fees may apply).

The overall stay was good. The home is Awesome. The only thing is the Bar across the street…. It was very hard to sleep. I’m sure it was cause of the holiday weekend. But overall it was good.

Great property and location. Easily walked to local sites and restaurants. Rental was spacious and had a great layout for our party of 4. Would stay here again if in the area.

Relaxing Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The courtyard is beautiful and a wonderful place to relax at the end of the day. Antebellum homes and amazing restaurants were close by. The host could not have been more accommodating and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Above The Law was excellent. The host was very accommodating and informative. The location is great. We were in walking distance to so many shops and restaurants. The apartment was well stocked and ready for our visit. The evening sunset backdrop on the city was beautiful from the front balcony.

Great property for our group. We rented all three properties and it was exactly what we needed for our family get-together All of the units were outfitted with everything someone would need. They had fully outfitted kitchens, great outdoor spaces. It was like staying in a small museum. Owner and staff were very friendly and attentive.

Cool house in great location!

This is a cool, old apartment above a business. It is decorated in many period pieces. It was very clean and well appointed in the kitchen and the owner is very friendly and helpful. There was written information about the town and nearby areas in the house and the owner was available by telephone for anything we needed. The outside areas were also great--a large deck out front and a courtyard in the back with tables and chairs. Overall, an outstanding stay.

Great!

The property was very clean and the kitchen (literally) had anything a person could want or need. Most things in Natchez are within walking distance and this property was perfect for that. Richard was great to work with.

Great time!

Had a wonderful time while staying at Above the Law! Such a great place to stay. Wonderful location and we really enjoyed the eclectic atmosphere of the property. Great artwork and so many interesting details. Loved the balcony and courtyard. Wished we had of had more time to linger. I have never stayed any other place with a better equipped kitchen! Would definitely stay here again!

Christmas Season in Natchez

Property is very convenient and walkable to all of downtown Natchez. The interior of the apartment was exactly as pictured. Artwork and antiques everywhere. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and appliances. The only issue we encountered with the property was the lack of ice or a functioning icemaker in the refridgerator. Overall, if we were to revisit Natchez we would choose to stay at “Above the Law” again.

Opened a store in Natchez in 1987
Lived in this apartment from 1992.

What makes this property unique

It was a home for many years - it still feels personal. It has art, several collections, and even artwork by the owner.
When I moved I only took a few items and left it as my home. (Just did another one!)
It is still used by my family at certain times during the year.
