Location, Location, Location. This charming cottage in the heart of the Old Village of Port Royal is just minutes from Parris Island and Downtown Beaufort. Surrounded by 2 huge live oak trees, this coastal gem is beautifully appointed and maintained. Walk to restaurants, shops and enjoy the Sands Beach and that's just within a few blocks!
This beautiful coastal home comfortably sleeps 7. Relax in the open floor plan downstairs: living room with wide screen TV (cable and Blue-Ray/DVD player), dining room for family eating and updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. Enjoy the sea breeze on the front porch and/or side porch.
The ensuite Master bedroom is on the first floor (king bed.) Upstairs you'll find one bedroom (one double and one single bed) and one loft (2 single beds) as well as the second full bathroom. *Please note the 3rd bedroom listed is considered a loft area because it has one open air half wall. See pictures. The washer and dryer are adjacent to the upstairs full bathroom and available for guest use. The backyard is large (unusual for Port Royal) and ready for a game of catch or for the kiddos to play.
Our house is within walking distance from restaurants, coffee shops, boutique gift stores, the Sands, Summertime Street Music Festivals on Parris Ave., Saturday Art Shows featuring local artists' work (also on Parris Ave.) and much more! Port Royal is very much a walking neighborhood and our house is right in the center of it all! There is a public use boat landing at The Sands Beach area and plenty of room to fish or crab off of the boardwalk. Live Oak trees, marsh and water views surround our neighborhood.

Perfect!

Lindsay was so easy to work with and the property was as perfect in person as in pictures. Being a mother in my 40s now I simply must have a great bed to sleep in even for short stays and all of these beds were super comfortable! The kids loved the loft and we all loved the location close to the Sands beach where we found over 50 sharks teeth. Wonderful property and we would love to stay again!!

A Gem in a Charming Town

We loved our stay in Port Royal. The house was perfect for the two of us. Plenty of space and pretty much everything we needed. The bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable and the linens were plush and new. The location of the house was ideal. Walkable and bikeable to town, the Farmers Market, and the Spanish Moss trail, and it was only a 10 minute drive to downtown Beaufort. Lindsay was great to work with--communicative, timely, and a pleasure. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband was a military brat and I grew up in South Carolina. We met when his father was stationed at Shaw. We love South Carolina and especially the beautiful Low Country.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this lovely home 13 years ago. We lived in and loved this sweet house many years thereafter. We have enjoyed every minute of being in the Port Royal Community. Walks to The Sands, fishing and crabbing from the boardwalk and visiting the many shops and restaurants make Port Royal truly special and a one of a kind place to live (or visit!)

What makes this property unique

One of my favorite parts of this house is the drive into the neighborhood and onto our street. You even have a water view right down the road (when you are standing in our front yard!) The 2 live oaks on either side of the house are magnificent and our house is perched up on a (little) hill, making it seem quite grand!
