This place was absolutely adorable and had such a warm and welcoming vibe. I was clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Communication with the host was fantastic and timely. This home is close to a variety of places that offer great restaurants, unique shopping and the lake. We actually walked to the winery to enjoy an afternoon fall event there. It a very cozy, peaceful location and we actually spent our evenings on the couch by the fireplace watching movies. And the swings....loved!! Highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for a comfy, cozy getaway in the buckeye lake area.
Great little house, really enjoyed all the natural lighting from windows, but must have been triple pane because there was no issue with excess heat despite low 90s everyday. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, and great access to fishing and boating as the dock was walking distance. Everything worked out great for our 4 night stay.
Beautiful home, excellent location! Very clean, well stocked, great outdoor space.Beds were so comfortable with new high quality linens. Laundry room made it easy to keep our clothes washed throughout our stay. Well decorated. Good communication with hosts. We would definitely stay there again.
This place is spacious and beautiful. We loved the views of the lake, the outdoor space, and children’s toys were a hit with my grand children. Owners answered every question promptly and helped with everything they could. We came to visit family in the area and will return again.

The house was decorated very tastefully and clean inside when we arrived it met all of our needs. We loved all of the big screens in bedrooms and living room area. Night lights in the rooms were the best. Bedding and beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of bath towels. The windows light the house up beautifully during the daytime. Bring more toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish towels and laundry soap if you are staying more than 2 days. Keep in mind the coffee maker is an electric drip (not a Keurig) and appliances are sufficient. If you arrive at night you may want to bring a flashlight as walkway is not well-lit.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback! We’re so glad you enjoyed the décor, cleanliness, comfortable beds and bedding, natural light, TVs, and especially the night lights. It’s wonderful to hear that the home met your needs and that you had a comfortable stay.
We also appreciate you pointing out a few areas for improvement. Since your September stay, we have already made several updates And fixes to address the items mentioned, including improving the exterior/walkway lighting and checking our household supplies. With it being a LakeHouse, there are some things that will always be there: acorns from the tree, leaves and bugs. We do what we can to keep it fresh and clean, but nature will still run its course.
For clarification for future guests, for a stay of this length we provide an initial supply of 3 trash bags, a full roll of paper towels, a bottle of dish soap and sponge, 3 dishwasher pods, 3 rolls of toilet paper, a laundry detergent packet, and dryer sheets along with the other standard amenities and lots of extras. (As shown in property photos.) Guests staying longer or with larger groups may certainly choose to bring additional supplies based on their personal usage.
We truly appreciate your feedback and are always looking for ways to make the Float House an even better experience for our guests. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again!
The host was great proving access information electronically. The house was furnished beautifully with a very large living room, dining room and another large round table that could easily sit 6. I can see this place being used by a large family with the size of the living space. Wonderful place to stay. I will be back.
Nice set-up for a visit with local family. There are a number of steps to get into the house without railing the entire way, but everything is the same level once in the house. Buckeye Lake is visible through the trees in the living room. Will consider the property again in the future when in the area.
