The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
Please do not throw sheets in the wash and the cleaning team takes them offsite to wash. If you are able to wash and dry any beach towels that you use, that would be extremely helpful.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Beautiful property in a fantastic location. The house was well kept and the owner clearly put a lot of effort into ensuring guests have a great stay. My family and I had an incredible time here. Recommend to anyone looking for a beach getaway!
Clean, comfortable, spacious and comfortable living room, comfortable beds, nice kitchen, great, safe and quiet location. Laundry was appreciated in the basement. Some disappointments- bedrooms are small with no closets, maybe 3 feet from all three sides of the bed to the walls; only coffee is Keurig K-cup pod one cup coffee maker, overhead ceiling light in smaller bedroom was out of order.

Thank you for staying with us. We totally agree that the bedrooms are small and we are working to fix the light. Hopefully you appreciated our total flexibility with you arrival date that we helped you reschedule, given your ferry was cancelled. We will update our listing to say the coffeemaker is a keurig.
Lovely well appointed home. Impeccably decorated yet cozy. The host thought of everything for a stress free, relaxing beach front getaway including beach gear, bikes/bike pumps, & firewood!
Our stay was amazing. The house was perfect for two senior couples. The house was very clean and check in was easy. The house had everything you need for the beach and we definitely used the grill and the fire pit. Beach access is easy and there was a wagon available. We rode the bikes and sat on the front porch during the rain. The kitchen was well stocked. Communication with the host was not needed. The information given was very detailed. We would definitely stay again!

We are so glad that you had a great time! Thanks for the review!
The cottage was very warm and cozy. My 3 yo Grandson loved the seasonal room off the living room. It was just his size. Loved the beach being right across the street. A little cold last weekend but would love to come back in the summer.Thank you Brian,Tracy and family.
We had a great stay despite the weather. The bathroom was pretty small as were the bedrooms. Had to navigate to and from bath with our bags all on the floor since there was no closet space. The place was decorated very nicely. Appreciated the fire pit and bicycles, but then again never got to use due to the wether. Location was great. Was able to walk to our family picnic that was post posted due to weather. And we met a an adorable family of deer that visited the area daily.
This how was perfect for our family beach weekend. Super cute and cozy and less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and the Deck for live music. Would definitely stay again.
This home was beautiful and in an amazing location. It was truly a home away from home with comfy beds beautiful views of the beach across the street. The beach house had everything we needed for our girls weekend.
The house smelled amazing and fresh when we first walked in. Everything was so cute and more than what we expected. The host was very communicative and seemed easy to reach if we needed to.
The beach house exceeded our expectations in many ways! The area's food, art and natural beauty are well worth the drive. Comfortable, well-appointed home. Beach is beautiful and clean. Sand is soft. Pier is fun to walk. It really is just steps away from the house, although you do have to walk to see it. Food and music at The Deck were above expectations. We didn't expect live music every day - way to go, Muskegon! Added bonus is that you can't hear the restaurant noise from the beach house. We dined mostly at home but thoroughly enjoyed Brunch House on Henry Street, Carmen's Cafe on Jefferson St. and Bear Lake Tavern on Ruddiman Dr. Oh, and the farmer's markets in Michigan can't be beat. Interesting sights included the Hackley Library (gorgeous), Monet Garden, sub museum, lighthouse and the art museum. We'd spend our morning exploring, take chairs to the beach in the afternoon and relax in the evening trying to find the best place to watch the sunset. Grand Haven is a lovely city within a short drive if you want to explore beyond Muskegon. Living room and front porch furniture were comfortable for lounging. Dining room picture looks smaller than it actually is - it's tight, but you can move the benches. Kitchen was well-stocked with pans, utensils, dining ware. Appliances in great condition. Bathroom is tiny and as other reviewers mentioned, storage in the bedrooms is tight. Beach chairs, beach towels and a rolling wagon in excellent shape
Amazing stay at this cozy beach cottage! Although it was a quick trip, this property was the perfect space for my Fiancée and I to visit family - walking distance to Pere Marquette beach and The Deck for live music, high end finishes, excellent host communication, and well stocked. Sad we couldn’t stay longer, but will definitely return in the future for an extended period of time!
