Absolutely wonderful stay. The cabin is beautiful, peaceful and incredibly well equipped, but the location and views are what really make it special. A perfect base for exploring the Driftless Area. We would happily stay here again!

Beautiful property! New, clean, in a very picturesque setting. You really should consider adding more outdoor photography to this listing, because the outdoor space is equally as beautiful as the inside.

The property is gorgeous and views from the windows are spectacular. Communication with the owner was excellent. Our family enjoyed the wood burning fireplace since the weekend was cool, and we used the outdoor grill. Wood was provided. The beds and bedding were comfortable and towels were plush. The driveway is steep and arriving during daylight is very helpful, until you are used to it. We went to nearby areas to hike and towns to explore. We all enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

The views from the house are beautiful. The record player brought back some old time goodies. As advertised: there was a outdoor pizza oven, which we were all excited to use and I bought all the ingredients. It was broken and we could not use. The cowboy cauldron was full of water and wet logs. We could not use. We had 5-6 small logs for the indoor wood stove which were burned quickly. I requested more as the owner let us know we could do that. No extra wood was delivered. The master bedroom bed is high! I needed a step stool to get in and midnight bathroom run ended up in a fall and bruises. I discussed all of this with the owner and she was very kind and understanding. I hope all of these things are addressed and others staying at your home will be able to enjoy all the amenities.

Thank you for your feedback and for your kind words about the views—we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We’re very sorry that several amenities did not meet expectations during your stay. This is not the standard we strive to provide. Since your visit, we’ve already begun addressing the items you mentioned, including repairs to the pizza oven, plumbing, and ensuring firewood and outdoor features are properly maintained and ready for guest use. We also take cleanliness and safety concerns seriously and have reinforced additional checks with our team to ensure everything is thoroughly prepared for future guests. We’re grateful you brought these items to our attention and appreciate your communication throughout your stay. Your feedback helps us continue improving the experience we provide. Thank you again for staying with us. —Hailey
