Loved sitting on the covered porch in the mornings and evenings, enjoying the breathtaking view. There were brief rain showers in the morning followed by rainbows over the harbor. We loved the 20 min hike from town to Honeymoon and Solomon Beachs, both with enough seclusion and the best snorkeling I've ever witnessed. There are a few concessions on Honeymoon Beach where you can get food and cocktails. The condo has everything you need. The hosts were kind enough to leave a gallon of water and a large bag of Smartfoods popcorn. The bed was very comfortable. Shower is extra-large with stone floor and tiled seat. The place was immaculate. The pool is clean with lots of seating and beautiful views of the harbor.It was very quiet and offerred the privacy we were looking for. Would love to return next winter!

We loved the place! The location was close and convenient to Cruz Bay, and the unit was the quiet and private. The interior was comfortable with plenty of space. The pool in the common area was great for a swim to cool down after a day of activities in the sun.

St John first timers

The Cruz Views Romantic Moment was an excellent property for my wife and me. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was very well stocked, and there were plenty of linens and beach supplies. The view over Cruz Bay was excellent and it was a good place to launch daily trips around the island with a nice parking lot available when you returned.

A lovely place!

We loved our 6 night stay. Clean and cozy just right for a couple. The view and sunsets from the deck are beautiful. Short drive into Cruz bay. It is close enough to walk but road is narrow, dark and very very steep so we drove. King bed was nice but a little firmer than we are used to. Would be nice if there was salt and pepper available. Otherwise the kitchen cookware and dishes were well stocked. We also used the communal grill and pool- both were great. We would definitely stay here again!

The 10 minute walk to the beach was a joke, no sidewalk, narrow road and very steep. It was possible for us but realistically, you need to drive. Our safe did not work properly. The hot water did not generally last for 2 showers. The mattress sagged into the middle. For the price, we put up with these things but would not stay here again.

Frustrating and no live person to call

We spent an entire day without running water. We called first thing in the morning and left a message (because there is nobody to directly call!) and nobody responded. We finally got a hold of someone that evening, who did a simple fix to turn the water back on. We also had to drive to their office to drop our key back off when checking out, instead of leaving it under the mat like they did for us. We ended up missing our car ferry because it was a lot further away from the property than expected.

This comfy villa is well equipped, breezy, user friendly, peaceful, and like home, sweet home! The Cruz Views Villas were more welcoming than even anticipated. The management was responsive and helped me to get settled in. Very cooperative and supportive as I was traveling with others who were staying in a residence near by. Absolutely Amazing

This was our first trip to St. John and first "real" vacation in 13 years. This place did not disappoint. We tagged on with a large group of friends and their friends. The Staff at Carribean Villas was extremely attentive and helpful from booking to check out. Beautiful Villa, amazing views, complex and pool well taken care of. Pool side grill was a plus as well for our stay in nights. Convenient to downtown and grocery store. We highly recommend Cruz Views!

Cozy, very clean condo with everything you need. Large pool area with gas grill. Highly recommend romantic moments for honeymooners, singles or couples. Easy walk to town (all downhill) for those that are young at heart. We will definately be back to Cruz views condos.

Perfect vacation villa

#9 is a great unit for a couple. I stayed here for my honeymoon - at first was hesitant that it wouldn't be as "luxury" as we'd like for a romantic getaway, but the villa was clean, comfortable, and had a porch we enjoyed sunset from. PROS: -Comfy big bed, plenty of linens and pillows - we slept like babies! -High powered A/C unit that cooled the bedroom completely and quickly - my husband runs VERY hot and was totally comfortable in this. We would absolutely have had a worse time in a unit with no A/C! -Convenient to beaches & Cruz Bay restaurants. It was our first time on the island and we'd definitely return -Private - though the pool is shared, we never heard a thing from neighboring Cruz Views condos -Kitchen - we cooked breakfast every morning -Greeter - was nice to have someone meet us at the dock and show us to the apartment, answer questions, etc. -Safe - good to lock up our valuables -Easy to clean - tile floors made it super easy to sweep up sand as needed CONS: -Nothing major! -The shower has weak pressure and does not get too hot, but is probably typical of the island. Was totally fine for our purposes (I felt clean every day after snorkeling). -One or two mosquitos got their way into the bathroom -Could use some new kitchen knives and maybe some basic spices beyond salt and pepper

Great Romantic Getaway!

Cruz Views # 9 has amazing ocean views and is very comfortable for 2 to 4 people. The large bedroom easily accommodates a king size bed which was perfect for my husband and me. This was our third stay at Cruz Views and by far our best!! In the past there has never been a water shortage and this trip was no exception. The beautiful pool and deck are clean and well maintained. I highly recommend Cruz Views # 9 for a romantic getaway!

Morning bayviews with your coffee ... Spectacular sunsets with your margarita

If you like comfortable surroundings with a spectacular view of St. John's Bay at any hour of the day or night, this is the place for you. For a week this fall, I enjoyed a beautifully clean, well-maintained condo in bright Caribbean colors. This property is landscaped beautifully & convenient...easily walkable to shops, restaurants and the island's museum. Open the doors to a large balcony with a magnificent view any time of day. Surrounded by colorful flowers & trees, mornings include watching ferry arrivals, coffee in hand. After spending the day on one of St. John's exquisitely private, sandy beaches, come back to the same well-equipped condo. You may choose to grill steaks up by the pool, enjoying another spectacular view of the bay during an outdoor dinner. Or return to the condo for dinner on your own balcony, feet up, margarita in hand, where you can watch sailboats in the golden & orange sunset until dark. St. John's is a Special Place...and this condo makes a vacation even more Special. Am I planning to return soon? Absolutely!

Cute, Charming and Clean!!!

Dave and I spent 10 days at this condo in April of 2008. It was absolutely lovely. Convenient to town, grocery stores and restaurants. You really don't need a car if you enjoy walking except for going up the big hill on the way back. The view from the deck is beautiful, over looking St. John.s bay and the homes below. The flowers and trees, all the landscaping was well maintained and the pool area has a grill which we used to cook some fish. Well equipped kitchen and the furniture and decorative art was very beachy. We had a wonderful time, I would definitely recommend.

Convenient and comfortable

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Cruz Views#9. Accommodations were clean and ample. The location was convenient and the neighborhood quiet. The pool area was nice, and a good gathering place as we met with our daughter and husband in another unit. Shawn was most hospitable. As was Kay, who welcomed our daughter and husband and friends when they arrived a couple days after us. Shawn had the water restored rather quickly when it had stopped on two separate occasions. Thanks for your hospitality!

disappointing

On Christmas day I had intended on cooking my husband a special dinner. To my surprise there was no water. For almost 2 hours we did not have water....this includes inability to use toilet. So, these things happen and you can overlook it. But, then the morning of our departure we woke up to no water again. Could not shower, could not make coffee, could not flush.... I don't know why they have a tv in bedroom, it did not work. Two good things: Brian, the maintenance man and the place was clean. As we were leaving we passed a large dead rat next to the pool.

Romatic Moment March 2014 stay

Great little place, had about everything you need. We have stayed in other condos that are always missing this or that- thankfully that was not the case here. I would say if you are active- you could do this place without a car if you chose to do so. The walk into town easy peasy...back up the hill- I recommend this if you are young or in decent shape, lol you have been warned- if your are neither of the above, the taxis in town will take you right to the property- they all knew exactly where Cruz Views was located. The BBQ on the pool deck was nice to have to the couple of nights we wanted to eat in and the kitchen has all the basics and them some. ( never used the pool, always was spotless though for what its worth) And although wifi is not available in the room you can get it on the pool deck. Great coming out in the morning with a cup of coffee to surf the internet, so it was not an issue for me to have to leave the condo to get an internet connection. What a view! Its why we picked this place really, and we were not disappointed, great sunset views. Perfect for what we needed all in all. Just a note on the Caribbean general, not specific to this place- bring your bug spray- if you are out at night on the balcony or pool deck err or anywhere really, the bugs are too! Please note if you are looking for luxury read the above carefully- this place is not going to be for you- don't expect any staff on hand. That being said it was clean, nicely landscaped, immaculately maintained, with great views, walk into town convenience ( we already discussed the back UP part) the option of eating in and having all the tools and appliances to do so, a/c and a king bed were nice- and it was quite charming.
