This home is a wonderful place for a fun filled stay in La Jolla! Very close to great restaurants and shopping. Well equipped kitchen and white linens make for a cool and pleasant environment! AC worked perfectly! A great golf trip was enjoyed by my husband and son as the location was ideal for the courses nearby!

The main bedroom smelled like a sewer, and there were stains on the sheets. The upstairs bedroom with bunk beds had stains of food on the dresser and floor. The oven drawer had food in it and there was leftover food in the fridge. The garbage cans outside smelled horrible. The patio set was not cleaned prior either. It was a great location, and on the surface was pretty clean.

Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention. While our property receives thorough cleaning and inspections before every arrival, we take feedback regarding cleanliness very seriously. We shared your comments directly with our cleaning and maintenance teams to thoroughly investigate the plumbing and review our cleaning protocols for the linens, appliances, and outdoor areas.

Our rating is based upon; reporting 2 cockroaches but got no response and ended buying roach bait, the A/C unit in the king BR is putting out moldy air that got my wife sick which caused us to stop using it after the 2nd day, in the king BR a lampshade is very cracked and ugly and the switch on the other lamp is broken, a drawer slide in the kitchen and adjacent bathroom are broken, the refrigerator door is seriously damaged. The unit is very nice but these issues should not be present when we considered the price. These are mostly easy repairs.

Thank you for your detailed feedback Shelley, and we are glad you enjoyed the overall layout and location of the unit! We take issues regarding cleanliness, maintenance, and guest comfort very seriously. We escalated your notes to our housekeeping and maintenance teams to inspect the air conditioning unit, address the lamps and drawer slides, evaluate the refrigerator, and ensure proper pest control protocols are strictly enforced. We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention so we can address them for future stays.
