The location was perfect for the area that we wanted to explore! The house was very clean. The beds are sooo comfortable. The deck was a great place to sit in the sun and enjoy the river views.

House was very clean, excellent property to rent, great location, we enjoyed our stay tremendously if ever in machias area again we would not hesitate to stay here again. The place was fabulous. Highly recommended

A lovely property. The deck and furniture were such a nice addition. We spent quite a bit of time outside. The property had everything we needed and more. Beds were very comfortable and the location to everything in town was so convenient. A definite 10!

Everything was wonderful!! Very clean modern and it had everything to needed. Jenny was also very nice and answered me with any questions quickly!! I plan to rent there again next year!!

The house in a great spot close to everything, walking distance to restaurants. It has most anything you need, well thought out. Plenty of parking. We ride ATVs, the town is very friendly towards them! ATV trail access close by. We even had deer visit us in the back yard! The host was extremely quick at responding to all my questions!

Lovely and convenient place to stay. The kitchen was outfitted with everything you could ask for, nice appliances and room to work. This cottage is artfully decorated. Having CENTRAL air conditioning was such a treat! Spotlessly clean with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, fluffy towels and lots of little extras that made it a most welcoming place. We fumbled a bit with the door lock but solved in a second with a call to the host (it was our bad!) Will definately make it our go to place when we travel Downeast.

The house was perfect to spend a week with our daughter on her week off. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfy. We were able to walk around Machias, drive to Lubec and Bangor without feeling like we had to rush anywhere. The local beaches were rocky and excellent for walking and catching glimpses of seals. Definitely worth going back to.

Great property with all the amenities one could need. Very clean and easy check in. Friendly, prompt, and helpful communications with our host before, during and after the trip. Pet friendly and had thought of everything a pet owner or pet may need. Lovely decor and updated appliances. Be aware the road traffic outside can be heard in the morning if you are a light sleeper. Private backyard with deck and outdoor furniture was nice. Walking distance to a few local eating establishments. Would highly recommend for those visiting the area!
