The house was beautiful and It was very clean. The host was willing to work with me, because we were so early. I really appreciated that. The only reason i gave 4 stars was because there were no dressers or hangers. Everything had to be on the floor in suitcases the whole week.

Heat was out for 4 nights. As a Turo host myself (renting out my personal cars to guest's) it is shocking to see the lack of manner's this host displayed. The house is extremely bare minimum. No drawers, only one TV in the living room, and the only decoration in the house is a painting, so it can hide their alarm system. Overall a very uncomfortable stay, mostly because of the host interaction, not so much the house.Even after the heat was out for 4 nights, she was watching the camera way too much, so she could charge us for additional guest's. I accidentally booked it with 2 guest's (even though I informed her that there would be 4 in my initial booking message) and she alleged to Vrbo that I had 7! There were only 3 of us every night, except 2 nights where instead of one grandparent joining us, both did for a total of 5.With all of that being said, the host refused any kind of refund for the heat being out, (literally woke up to 60 degree on the thermostat, 4 mornings in a row) but Vrbo after reviewing the situation, sent me 500. That should tell you all you need to know about working with this host.

Thank you for your feedback. We take all guest concerns seriously and want to provide clarity for future guests reviewing this stay. Regarding the heating concern: when the guest notified us that the heat was not functioning properly, we responded immediately. A licensed technician was dispatched right away, and a personal heater was also provided as a temporary solution. The guest confirmed appreciation for the quick response and resolution at that time, which is documented in our message history. As outlined in our listing and house rules, the reservation was made for two guests. During the stay, we received notifications indicating additional occupants beyond the reservation. After addressing this with the guest and the platform, the appropriate additional guest fee was applied per policy. Guest count compliance is important to us for safety, insurance, and neighborhood considerations. The home is accurately represented in the listing photos and description. Many of our guests appreciate the clean, minimalist layout, and this is reflected consistently across our reviews on this and other platforms. Unfortunately, the home was left with damages and excessive mess beyond normal wear, which required repairs at our expense. This was disappointing, especially given our long history of positive guest experiences and consistent five-star reviews. We remain committed to being attentive, responsive, and transparent hosts, and we encourage future guests to review our full listing details and prior reviews to feel confident booking with us.
