We’re a couple who split our time between Colorado and Chicago, and we’ve always loved the balance between city life and mountain living. We decided to build the cabin after absolutely falling in love with the view. It was the kind of place that immediately made us slow down and breathe a little deeper.

The build took us two years from start to finish, and we poured a lot of sweat, love, and care into every detail. We wanted to create a space that felt both calming and inspiring but wouldn't overpower the nature around it.

Hosting has become an incredible way to share this special place with others. When we’re not working remotely, you’ll usually find us skiing, hiking, or exploring nearby mountain towns. We love welcoming guests who appreciate the same sense of peace and connection that first drew us here.

We chose this area for its breathtaking scenery and sense of calm. The cabin sits in one of the most beautiful stretches of Park County, surrounded by wide-open views of the mountains and endless skies that make every sunrise and sunset feel special. It’s peaceful and restorative, with a true feeling of being away from it all.

While we’re tucked in a quiet, remote setting, we’re also centrally located for every kind of adventure — from whitewater rafting in Buena Vista to skiing in Breckenridge, or simply discovering local restaurants and shops in Fairplay. Whether it’s a winter morning spent watching the snow fall in silence or a summer evening under a blanket of stars, this place captures everything we love about mountain living
