NEW LISTING: Welcome to THE VIEW!Very convenient, 3 miles from down town Manchester Center, VT outlet stores,restaurants, etc. Large, groomed, park-like yard and very large deck facing the unbelievable views with a quality 8 person hot tub. Come in from the cold after skiing on one of the local mountains and warm yourself next to the fieldstone fireplace in this Vermont post and beam style living room. All timbers were locally milled in this 2700 square foot home. Invite your friends and/or family over for plenty of room. In the dining room you will find a solid pine table that allows for the seating of 10 people. The island granite countertop in the kitchen seats an additional 6 people. It is an 'open - flow' design so anywhere you sit you can see both the view and the fireplace which is built of natural stone and stretches from the floor to the 17' cathedral ceiling. Upstairs are the bedrooms: Bedroom #1 has a king size bed, #2 has a queen and 1 bunk bed, #3 has 2 bunk beds, #4 has a queen bed. Loft has a queen futton. There are 3 total full bathrooms. Bedroom #1 has an attached Master Bath with a Jacuzzi tub. Master bedroom has french doors that open up to the loft and down below is the living room with the fireplace. At night, you can open up the doors to the loft and fall asleep with the soft firelight down below filling the bed room. Very nice, very cozy. Short drive to ski areas....We ski weekly at Stratton and Bromley Mountains!

We had a very nice 4 night stay during Christmas at the Mountain View Lodge. The host, Alex was very responsive and helpful. It was a special surprise to get there and see a Christmas tree already set up for us. We would stay here again.

Alex was a fantastic host and was very communicative before and during our stay. The house was perfect for our family of 14 including 7 children with tons of games and room to play inside and out. The hot tub was just icing on the cake of the amazing views and hospitality.

As advertised: Beautiful Mountain vieews- Close to Manchester where there is plenty to do….. one of the best book sites we have ever found anywhere.Great hiking trails nearby and a solid history brings it all together beautifully.

We had a great time here! We were 3 families (6 adults 8 kids) and everyone had a good place to sleep, eat and lounge. We made breakfasts and dinners for 14 and the kitchen was great and well appointed. Enough bathrooms for everyone. Hot tub was also great - easy to use and right outside on the deck. Wood stove kept the place toasty, and there was a TV room to either occupy the kids or watch playoff football. We loved this house and would definitely stay again.

Great stay with family

We stayed at this house for 4 nights over Christmas. It was 2 families of 4 adults and 4 kids. House was very clean and could comfortably accommodate all of us, several sleeping choices, large table for dining etc. Everyone loved the hot tub after long ski days.

Great home for a large family

We spent a long week-end in the house with 5 adults and 7 children. The accommodations were able to comfortably handle everyone without feeling cramped. The grounds were beautiful and the views were spectacular. There was a piano and a blackboard which were great diversions for the brief rainy periods. We were able to cook whatever we wanted in the large kitchen. The owners were very responsive to our questions, and answered within minutes. We are very much looking forward to the next time that we stay here.

Fun family vacation!!!

Our first family vacation in several years with our adult children and there children, we celebrated our sons birthdays, and couldn't have asked for a better home to accommodate us. We enjoyed beautiful fires in the fieldstone fireplace every night and gathered around the large table every evening for dinner and games. We had our 2 year old grandson who enjoyed serenading us on the piano, and was thoroughly occupied with the toys provided. We are looking forward to making this an annual vacation spot with our family. And lets not forget the exceptional views of Mount Equinox. The owners couldn't be anymore gracious and accommodating, Thank you so much!!! Richard T

Wonderful family vacation!

Our annual family vacation at your house was wonderful! Views were gorgeous; location was perfect.. Very close to everything. The house was very clean and comfortable. Our grandchildren loved it and can't wait to go back! Owners were very accomodating and easy to reach. Thank you!

Our aim as far as rental properties is to provide a clean, comfortable, no hassle service for those who wish to stay in our places. We really want you to be refreshed, comfortable, and not have to worry about anything but rather to relax and enjoy your stay!

Why they chose this property

We choose to build on this undeveloped lot because we knew we would have an awesome, in-your-face view of Mount Equinox. The photos do not really reveal the full affect of the view....In other words, you really have to be standing on the deck to get the king size view we are trying to describe. You can see Manchester valley and past it all the way to Pawlet...Amazingly beautiful!! Therefore, the home is designed so most all of the rooms have a view of the mountain(s). Great location too..Manchester is only 3 miles down the road. Private, yet very convenient.

What makes this property unique

very Vermont meaning it has post and beam structure, loft is all wood, floor is wood, fireplace made of stone is a piece of art and is the center piece. If you like the cozy feel of a lodge, this place would be a great stay for you. Master bedroom has french door that open up to the loft and down below is the living room with the fireplace. At night, you can open up the doors to the loft and fall asleep with the soft firelight down below filling the bed room. Very nice, very cozy. Large, groomed, park-like yard.
