Visit to Charlotte

I was visiting my sister and her family for the weekend. The house was perfect. It’s so beautifully decorated and perfectly equipped for all you’d need. The bed was soo comfy and the bathroom was filled with natural light. When I visit Charlotte again, I will absolutely try to stay here again.

Wonderful home! completely met all of our expectations!

Everything went as planned the home was beautiful and very comfortable. The location is great and the owner went out of his way to be helpful even making restaurant suggestions. The amenities were wonderful and the house was very well equipped. We would definitely stay here again and wish we could find this type of accommodations anywhere else we traveled.

Fantastic Gem- Better Than a Luxury Hotel

We usually stay in a nice hotel while in Charlotte. However, this was a 1 week trip and we thought we would try something different. We found it to be our most enjoyable trip to Charlotte. Easy to walk to restaurants, prep our own food and have some personal space. It felt like home. Highly recommended.

GORGEOUS Place!

I really enjoyed staying at this house...it was simply GORGEOUS! The only downside is that you could hear everything from the people above the townhome. Especially the TV. Other than that, it was great!

Wonderful stay:)

We were in Charlotte this past weekend for a tournament. Husband and I with 3 adult children. This place was great. Spotless on arrival with welcoming food and drink. Linens were very nice. Extra towels available if needed. No complaints about this place. Would have no hesitation staying here again if ever back in Charlotte. Neighborhood is lovely:)

We really enjoyed our stay, it was a nice apartment, well equipped kitchen, nice with the welcome package. The area was good for walking and running. Ii was easy to find a parking spot on the street. The only problem we had was with a TV set in one of the bed room.

I rented this unit for my parents, sister and brother in law who came into Charlotte for my wedding. The unit was clean, spacious, well equipped and even included added special details that we did not expect! I would absolutely rent this unit again. It was definitely a 5 star experience for my family! Thank you so much for having this unit ready with every essential provided.

My 2-bedroom condo with screened porch was devine. It had all the amenities of home. It was beautifully decorated, spotless clean, the bedroom had comfy feather down pillows, the TVs offered great channels and WIFI, the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking including complimentary coffee with real cream, english muffins, fruit and wine. The owners provided the little things that made my stay exceptionally pleasant and they quickly responded to my questions about the condo during my stay. I would stay here again and again.

Amazing, perfect condo!!!

This condo is perfect! You will want to move in permanently! It's located on a beautiful, quiet street right outside of downtown Charlotte in an exclusive, lovely neighborhood. The decor is fun and high end and it has everything you need and more. We travel often and it is like a boutique hotel. Walking distance to many restaurants from casual to upscale, coffee shops, and many boutique stores. The owners of this condo will respond to any need or request within minutes and are so very, very nice. This is our best VRBO experience yet!! We will be back as we have family in Charlotte!

Magnificent!

I am in love with this property which is conveniently located in a safe and clean neighborhood. It's not far from the airport and other major spots but quiet enough to retreat nicely at the end of a busy day. No issue with accessing the key and checking in. The house was impeccable!!! There was no detail left unattended and they even offered a small amount of groceries for after a long trip. I have NO complaints and as a hotelier and hospitality industry professional, this is not the norm for me. I would highly recommend this property and as an added plus, Charlie and Jim are absolutely awesome! Attentive, accommodating and efficient! I will most definitely be back!!

Prepare To Be Spoiled

The Home Collection team is absolutely wonderful! They anticipated our every need and were exceptionally caring and responsive to our few minor questions. The stunning Hermitage Court property was conveniently located in a mature stately neighborhood, within a few miles of our business event, grocery stores, and shopping. The beautiful landscaping and warm, classy interior design and thoughtfully immaculate appointments left my family and me feeling relaxed and inspired during our stay. In fact, my wife and I gained a number of ideas on design and comfort that we’re going to implement in our own home. This charming property was a welcome change from a hotel stay at the same price point. The pictures do not do it justice.

It was easy to get to our key and get in the apartment. We could not have been more pleased with the luxurious furnishings in the apartment when we arrived. They are very tasteful and the apartment had everything that we needed to make our visit comfortable. The wine and snacks were a welcomed surprise and a treat after our travels. The beds are so comfortable, I slept like a baby. The bathrooms have everything you need including fresh towels, blowdryer, lotions, shampoo, and soap. The kitchen was fully equipped. We only used the coffee maker, but it would have been a great kitchen to prepare meals. We took advantage of the fabulous restaurants in Charlotte. My friend and I were visiting Charlotte to attend to wedding plans for my daughter, so the location was very convenient for us. The neighborhood is very quiet and well manicured. We loved our stay and will again as Charlotte is my daughter's home.

Elegant, Sophisticated, Very Comfortable Property in Beautiful Charlotte Neighborhood!

This two-bedroom (1 king; 2 twins) apartment in a four-plex building was gorgeous and very comfortable. It was perfect for a relaxing weekend girls' getaway. We could walk to great sushi, Thai, and other restaurants, coffee, and small, interesting boutiques. The neighborhood has beautiful walking streets full of old Charlotte homes and parks. Easy driving to Queens University, South Park, and a Harris Teeter. Furnished with everything we needed to cook at home and to relax--throw blankets, screened-in sun porch, heated bathroom floors and deep soaking tub in the master, great dining area. It was even stocked with breakfast goods (English muffins, OJ, butter, coffee and half and half), white wine, red wine, and the makings for a pasta dinner (sauce, pasta and other items I can't remember now). I can't wait to go back and could not recommend this property more. Nice music player set to classical when I arrived, and enough tvs so everyone in the apt could watch what they wanted--even though we didn't watch much tv. Very easy to contact manager and book. So stylish I did not want to leave.

Wonderfully equipped apartment in Myer's Park. Treated us like royalty.

We stayed for over a week in this unit while in town for business. The apartment is beautiful. It's one of 4 units, 2 up and 2 down in a charming converted house in Myer's Park. Convenient to everything and very quiet, neighborhood feel. The owners have provided so many nice touches to make you feel completely at home to kitchen goods, soaps, lots of towels, nice linens etc. Even liquor at the bar! The only con (and honestly everything else was so nice I feel guilty for having any complaints) is the noise from neighbors. Being an old house, the walls and floors are very thin. It wouldn't keep me from staying again but I'd probably opt for an upper unit. The couple above us had a baby we could hear cry, dad sing and I'm afraid we woke up just by moving around in the kitchen. The guy next door had several dogs. They didn't bark all the time but when the mood struck them, they were quite a chorus. Nothing interrupted our sleep but because we were there working we tended to have the TV off and hear more. Next time I'm in Charlotte, I will rent a unit from this owner. They have guest service figured out!

Like a Home Away from Home

We stayed in a Home Collection residence for the first time back in August 2015 during our annual family reunion. We were so pleased with our stay that we booked again for this year's reunion, staying for two nights in late August 2016. I didn't think it was possible, but this particular unit exceeded our expectations in many ways. First, this unit is impeccably designed and furnished. When we first entered the unit, everyone in our party could not stop saying, "wow". It is an impressive blend of antique, art deco and modern. As you can tell from the pictures, everything is top of the line, from the appliances to the furniture. I have to admit, we took pictures of almost everything, hoping to duplicate the designs in our own home. Second, the unit is located in the heart of Myer’s Park, a beautiful, historic neighborhood that is truly one of a kind. Tree-lined streets, restored historic homes, and friendly neighbors out for a walk. It is within walking distance of a grocery store, drug store, Starbucks and much more. Third, the owners are not only responsive, but they actually care whether you have a good experience with them. Their thoughtfulness and concern for our comfort is something that will bring us back to The Home Collection for future stays. If you're considering a stay in the Charlotte area, we highly recommend the Home Collection and especially this particular unit.
